I wonder if Regina is telling the truth, that she let Kurt go, and whilst he was looking for Greg, the organisation came and kidnapped him.
In Skyfall, M said to Bond that “Orphans make the best recruits”. The same theory could apply to Greg and Tamara. What if Tamara’s “grandmother” was actually her handler?
I think there’s a high chance she really was telling the truth. If she still had Kurt locked up, wouldn’t she be willing to free him as a way to try to get Greg out of Storybrooke? It’s not out of the realm of possibility that Regina felt bad for Greg/Owen and let Kurt go shortly after he left, but something else happened.

Could GOAT’s organisation be a modern world version of witch hunters? “Unholy” implies religious connotations, that magic is evil. Regina and Rumple are the two magic users on Tamara’s list that could be described as “evil”. Regina is the evil queen and Rumple is the dark one. People were accused of witchcraft during the Salem witch trials so magic is not exactly unheard of in the real world. What if GOAT’s organisation was behind that?
That’s why I brought up the concept that “A Land Without Magic” might have had a more magical presence a long time ago, but it has died out dramatically at the hands of people like them. I think about it like this. How did “A Land Without Magic” become “A Land Without Magic”?

And I totally think he’s peeking at his new acquisition in the mirror while he’s talking to Regina. Matches up nicely with the Disney version.
To make sure she hadn’t run away or because he misses her?
But I agree, that mirror looked VERY much like the Disney mirror.Yes! I was thinking the exact same thing when I was watching the episode!

ModeratorOuch, Once can’t get a break this half of the Season can it? I’m a little more optimistic for the next two episodes, as they are the Season finale. If not even the Season finale can get a huge boost, then I’ve lost faith in Nielsen viewers.

ModeratorI agree that Regina no longer being able to use her magic will be a great way to further develop her character. Like Rumple, magic has been a “crutch” for her, and she will have major issues trying to get what she wants without it. She may have no choice but to try redeeming herself again. She was only able to have her way without magic during the curse before because she had full control over the town with everyone’s memories replaced. What can Regina possibly do without magic at her aid? The flashback portion of this episode showed how much she struggles without it.

ModeratorThe FTL events of The Evil Queen definitely seem to be after Red Handed. Notice how back in Red Handed, Snow does not have her typical hunting garb or gear like she does in this episode and other particular episodes. I am willing to believe that Snow met Robin Hood after meeting Red (heh, they’re both HOODS), and that is how she learned her hunting skills and got her new wardrobe. The Robin Hood thing isn’t confirmed yet, but there are hints in the episode that it’s a likely possibility.

The London portion of Peter Pan was fictional too, so why wouldn’t it be its’ own world? The concept of these classic stories being a hybrid between real world and fictional settings would make my head spin for many reasons.
This is something I’ve often wondered about, because the fact that all of these stories somehow made their way into our world means there must be a connection of some sort between the “fictional” worlds and our world. So characters like the Darlings, and Alice, and Dorothy being actual real world people from real world places who got wrapped up in adventures in magical lands doesn’t seem out of the question IMO.
But if this place we see Bae in is actual real world London, then it means Neal straight up lied to Emma, (and through Neal, K&H straight up lied to the viewers), that our world wasn’t the first one he went to. For that reason, I’ve gotta think that what we’ve seen in the previews isn’t real world London.
If Bae really did go to London first, then that at least clears up the confusion for why the bean wouldn’t have sent him to his planned destination. That was a particular issue I had back when it was revealed that Neal had been to Neverland. Of course now this could lead to another frustrating question! All answers leading to more questions seems to be a trend on this show!

I think with these sneak peeks and the promos thus far, it seems to me that the popular Nealfire Pan theory won’t be correct. I also think Tamara is still not from FTL, especially given her comments. It’ll certainly be interesting to see as it plays out, considering it looks like the season finale won’t be as predictable compared to other episodes where we were able to correctly deduct a theory.
I think Adam & Eddy may have intended it that way Matt because Adam told Matt Mitovich in that last interview with TVLine that “Our fans are smart”
Agreed, and to me that makes this much more exciting and interesting! Though, if Neal really isn’t Peter, I do wonder if the idea had originally been considered or even planned? They almost changed it so Neal wasn’t Baelfire after all, because we were too smart and correctly guessed it a long time ago.

ModeratorI am on board with the idea of the London depicted in Peter Pan not being the same London as the real world. It works with Neal’s comment that our world wasn’t his first stop, and it makes things less confusing. The London portion of Peter Pan was fictional too, so why wouldn’t it be its’ own world? The concept of these classic stories being a hybrid between real world and fictional settings would make my head spin for many reasons. If another realm exists for Frankenstein’s Switzerland and Mulan’s China, then London isn’t out of the question. Like the real London, it would be another Land Without Magic too. The bigger question, though, is how Baelfire got from Neverland to our world and why?
MatthewPaul
ModeratorI haven’t heard this particular theory before, and I can actually see it happening.
