We haven’t even gotten the press release, which lately have been released the Monday before the episode airs, but we didn’t get one yesterday!

This actually wasn’t the first time I’ve had my question answered on their podcast. I was the one who asked about whether or not Jefferson fell through Emma’s hat back in “Hat Trick”, where Adam and Eddy gave the disappointing “no” answer. The easiest way to get your question picked is to tweet Estelle McGeckie (the host and podcast editor). She has very few actual followers, so her twitter feed is less cluttered and therefore it is easier for her to notice your question. It’s much better than trying to ask via the Once Facebook page.

Now knowing that Tamara might not be as sweet as she looks, perhaps Rumple doesn’t want her and Bae together for another reason. Rumple likely doesn’t trust her or her agenda, and deep down wants to protect Bae from her. That could be tied into the argument scene.

On the commentary for the season 1 dvd, in the episode where MM and David end up in the wood cabin in the rain, she was talking about getting a “Jewfro” when her hair gets rained on – goes all frizzy. It made me laugh 🙂 She’s such a cutie.

Yep, I listened to that commentary too. She even added “I can say that cause I’m Jewish!” I think Adam and Eddy might be Jewish themselves.

It would be cool if these books include scenes that were filmed or at least written, but were ultimately cut from the actual episodes. Many things could have been further developed if it wasn’t for the runtime issue.

Nice! It’s cool to know they actually did film the opening scene of “Broken” in NYC for real, but it was too cost prohibitive to continue shooting there for following NYC appearances. I agree that they did a great job of making Vancouver look like NYC.

TVByTheNumbers posted that press release here: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/03/18/abc-earns-second-place-on-sunday/173674/

Also, final Live + 7 DVR ratings are in for “The Queen is Dead”!: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/03/18/live7-dvr-ratings-modern-family-leads-adults-18-49-ratings-smash-earns-biggest-percentage-increase-in-week-22/173613/

Once bounced up to a 3.4 ratings share and 10.06 million total viewers. Again, these DVR numbers make Once look much better than those initial overnight ratings.

Season 4 is likely regardless, since that would be enough to sell Once reruns to syndication.

Once is still doing good, as far as ABC is concerned, according to this press release regarding last night’s ratings:

Surging over its Adult 18-49 lead-in at 8pm (+57%), ABC’s Once Upon A Time tied CBS’ Amazing Race for #1 in the hour. The ABC drama won its time slot with key Women (W18-34/W18-49) to rank as Sunday’s highest-rated broadcast series. Once Upon A Time held 100% of its week-ago Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 rating. Please Note: Once Upon A Time is seeing much bigger ratings growth after day of air, up sharply over last Fall and the year-ago Spring. The Adult 18-49 increases for Once Upon A Time from L+SD to L+7 have gone from 42% last Fall up to 52% this Spring, and is also showing a much bigger gain than the same point last Spring (39%). The ABC drama is posting similar playback increases in Total Viewers, gaining 36% this Spring, as compared to 31% in the Fall and 29% last Spring.

If she is just a normal person who is trying to steal magic then we have to wonder why. How many normal people openly believe in magic (cue Jefferson’s line from Hat Trick about people wanting magical solutions to their problems but refusing to believe in magic). Is it for selfish purposes. Maybe what’s she learned is that time stood still in SB, maybe she wants to be young forever, a sort of take on the Fountain of Youth.

A normal person who believes in magic and/or unusual things while wanting to take advantage of it has existed as a character type for quite some time. Leroy even directly mentions how the film “Splash” showed someone getting experimented on. There’s also Mr. Crocker from Fairly Odd Parents, who actually reminds me a lot like Greg now that I think about it. Both are trying to prove that magic exists and are snooping around for evidence.
