ModeratorI’ll repeat what was said in the deleted thread. I wonder how Regina plans to get Henry back? She already learned that forcing Henry to be with her won’t work. My guess is she might try to brainwash him by using “Dark Snow” as a reason for Henry not to trust the Charmings anymore. Henry is also likely still bitter at Emma for lying to him, so Regina could have that to her advantage too.

ModeratorI think the three way storylines from the start of Season 2 really hurt the Season. Storybrooke, Past FTL, and Present FTL were too much to squeeze into each episode. They should have either axed the flashbacks for those episodes, or axed the entire Present FTL storyline. It strayed too far away from the show’s formula, which I feel confused casual viewers. I also feel like the flashbacks this Season haven’t complimented the Storybrooke side of the story as well as they did in Season 1. The flashbacks have also focused too much on Rumple, Regina or some secondary character. We got very little flashbacks this Season that actually focused on Snow and/or Charming, when last Season they starred in the majority of the flashbacks. So far we only got “Lady of the Lake”, “Child of the Moon” (which was still mainly a Ruby story), “The Cricket Game”, and “The Queen is Dead.”
I was really hoping and expecting the “take back the Kingdom” storyline to be the main focus in this Season’s flashbacks, but we got so little of it. Snow’s comment in the Season 1 finale surely seemed like a huge setup, but unfortunately it hasn’t progressed much. I also wished that Storybrooke itself would have been much more action packed with magic introduced, and there should have been more chaos. Why are the Storybrooke residents continuing their cursed self routines rather than trying to figure everything out?

ModeratorLooks like they are actually casting the spinoff and planning to film it in April.:
If this is indeed a direct spin-off: I think the casting call for Alice kills any theories about Jack or any other existing character doubling as Alice. Would be interesting if Barbara Hershey reprised her role as the Queen of Hearts as a recurring role.

ModeratorI really can’t see them abandoning Storybrooke altogether. It’s an integral part of the show.

Looks like we will get another special recap episode for the season before the viewing the last three episodes of the season. Might even get new clips in there.
Yep, I saw that. Weird, you’d think they’d save another recap special for before Season 3 starts? This could be an attempt to regain some of the casual viewers they lost, who stopped tuning in regularly.

ModeratorSo FutonCritic is showing the airdates for the rest of the Season, which are the same dates obisgirl posted. I’ll update the first post to reflect this.

ModeratorI thought it was established that Barbara Barnett misheard what Jane Espenson said concerning “Her”?

My theory has always been that the same year repeated over and over, not the same day, and it didn’t always play out the same way every time.
Yes, and this makes a lot a sense. It’s actually the SAME day of the year when we saw Snow give that lecture. The curse happened the day Emma was born, and Emma came to Storybrooke exactly 28 years later on her birthday.

ModeratorThe sneak peeks come directly from ABC Medianet, their press site.

ModeratorIf he does turn out to be Peter, I will at least give the creators the benefit of the doubt and give them a chance to see how they handle it. I mean plenty of people initially opposed the idea of making Rumple the Beast, but following the premiere of “Skin Deep” people fell in love with him and Belle as a couple. Still don’t want to see it happen, but at the same time I have faith in Eddy and Adam.
