ModeratorI also feel like ABC is trying to misdirect us by overhyping the possibilities of who will die in the episode, when in reality it is likely just Cora who bites it.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorI am calling the REAL object in this episode’s intro to be Rumple’s infamous spinning wheel. It IS the Miller’s Daughter story, after all.
Update: And according to the first 9 minutes of the episode, I was right!

ModeratorI swear, such a huge and incredible episode better get a much needed ratings boost. How can not so many people tune in?

Moderator“Snow wasn’t always Snow White” referred to how Snow started out as a bit of a brat. Snow looks nothing like Cora and resembles Eva. Adam and Eddy have made it pretty clear in interviews that it was in fact Regina that was Cora’s child originally offered to Rumple. When Rumple told Regina that they were “back where we belong. together”, he was referring to that original deal.

ModeratorSnow’s outfit seems to hint that this takes place earlier, before she and Charming took back the kingdom. Snow isn’t wearing her nicer white outfit, but the outfit she wore when she was an outlaw. As for why Regina is dressed the way she is, I really have no clue. I would still like to see Snow and Charming overthrowing King George, aside from what little we saw in “The Cricket Game.” George’s comments to Charming in “Child of the Moon” about how Charming let him go implies that there’s plenty we didn’t see.

ModeratorEven if Rumple is no longer the Dark One, I imagine he will still be able to do magic. If Regina and Cora were able to learn how to use magic from him without having his powers, then I don’t think Rumple would suddenly not be able to use magic.

ModeratorTo be fair, ABC DOES clearly state when the show will return during the promos that air right when the episode ends. Though, I know there are some people who don’t watch the promos to prevent any possible spoilers, but those are likely in the minority.

ModeratorI wonder if Neal and Rumple will have another one on one conversation in this episode. With his own father dying, I think Neal will give him another chance to say what needs to be said. Also, after witnessing his emotional phone call to Belle, Neal will realize that there is still much good in him.
I imagine that Rumple will tell Neal what he should have said all along. That of course is basically replicating the conversation he had with August, when he mistook him for Bae.

I’m finding it interesting that people would not watch the show because of hiatuses. Every major show that I know of has them. I recently saw an idea which suggested having two complete halves of the season with a longer break in the middle. Would OUAT retain their audience with such a long break?
I know NBC and a lot of cable channels do it, but I’m not sure if it would work for Once. I also always assumed that another reason why there is a hiatus during April could be similar to the winter break. Many people are off for Spring break and are therefore busy doing stuff like traveling and just going out to socialize. Cable channels typically have less viewers to begin with, and can afford to schedule new episodes whenever throughout the entire year.
