aww so that pizza place the went to isn’t real? That sucks I’m going to New York and I thought I’d go try the pizza that’s cheesy and doesn’t lie lol
Sadly, yes. I do think they might have filmed in the real NYC for the Season premiere, when you see Neal walking home. As a NY state native myself, I’d say pizza is good in NYC almost wherever you go. To recreate the Neal and Henry pizza experience as close as possible, though, I would eat somewhere in Little Italy.

And the iconic NYC building that it resembles is the Flatiron Building: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flatiron_Building
Which is funny, because the Flatiron Building is actually nowhere near SoHo/Little Italy, where Bae’s neighborhood was shown. The entire area in Vancouver they used to double for NYC is called Gastown. I was actually able to locate where Neal’s apartment (the exterior at least) was filmed thanks to Google Maps. It’s the middle red bricked building with the green framing.
After a little research, I discovered that this building is apparently a homeless shelter called The Dugout. Kinda amusing, considering Neal was homeless for quite some time. More information can be found there:

ModeratorI think most of us could safely agree that Baile Madison is at least a far better child actor than Jared Gilmore. I’ve seen way more complaints about his acting than most of the cast.

ModeratorI’m pretty sure she was totally inspired by Ginnifer’s acting. I recall Bailee mentioning that she rewatched some of Ginnifer’s performance in preparation for the role.

Thanks for the press release. 😀 (addendum: I just went and looked. I’ve already seen that one under Nonnie’s spoiler link. I noticed they didn’t list the dancers on it. So, I guess they could leave off a name if they didn’t want to give something away.)
Re: no magic in SB. I don’t know that it’s entirely true. We see Cora use a little magic, that she says she has left, to pull the poison apple out of Jefferson’s hat. Nothing would surprise me. Maybe Snow doesn’t end up crushing a heart but August sacrifices himself as he’s wood anyway and doesn’t want to go living that way.
Anyway, as I said in a few earlier posts, I believe that it’s Cora who dies. I just thought it was an interesting twist and still do. The show is all about guessing and that’s what makes it so much fun. 😆
Prior to the curse breaking, you could only create magic from magic (enchanted objects), and it wasn’t a lot. She used whatever bit of it left to get the apple. She wouldn’t have had enough to be able to pull someone’s heart out. Creating magic from magic was also how Rumple was able to bring magic to Storybrooke via pouring the true love potion into the well.

August (Eion Bailey) is not mentioned in the cast listed in press release for this episode at all, so I doubt it. Also, why would his heart not be attached to him if he is still wood?
Love to see a copy of the press released cast list if you can provide the link. Tks 🙂
He was in town quite awhile before he turned to wood. Reggie could have easily taken his heart.

And I still doubt August would lose his heart like that. August was hardly ever around Regina, and he’s the type of person who wouldn’t let his guard down. Also, Regina couldn’t have taken his heart out without magic being in town. There was no magic until Rumple brought it in the Season 1 finale.

ModeratorBarbara Barnett, who has already seen “The Miller's Daughter”, mentioned on her online radio show today that she can say with full authority that was the real dagger they found.

Thanks for being the voice of tranquility here lol, the numbers last season were just so much better even though I think this season has been better. I’m not really saying the need to turn Once into a police procedural kind of thing but there has to be a better way to take that momentum that the show gets to start the season and maintain it. Hiatuses tend to hurt a show like this I think there was three wasn’t there? Like Nonnie suggested I think those marathons really help last year that’s actually how I picked up watching the show last year was during the winter hiatus they aired every episode from the pilot to I think Heart is a lonely Hunter and after that I couldn’t wait for it to air I was Hooked!
It’s not the number of hiatuses that are the issue, as they have been distributed the same as last Season. The length of one of those hiatuses, though, was too long. I am talking about the hiatus between “In the Name of the Brother” and “Tiny.” Instead of airing one more episode and then only taking a 2 week break for the Super Bowl, they decided to take a 3 week break. “In the Name of the Brother” suffered pretty badly because of the NFL Championship game, and to make matters worse the returning episode “Tiny” had to face off against the Grammy’s. Despite Once being able to compete rather well with those events like last Season, it actually took a big ratings drop from them. The ratings for “Manhattan” were actually a slight improvement, and had it not been for the break for the Oscars, “The Queen is Dead” could have seen an increase in ratings too. It’s tough for a show to recover its ratings momentum, so let us pray the numbers start going back up with at least the next 3 episodes airing consecutively with no interruptions in between.

Another break?!? 😯 Rats! 👿
Like I said, I don’t think they would risk pushing back the Season finale like that. I am confident it will air on May 12th.
