ModeratorI think what will happen is Cora will want Henry out of the way, because just like Daniel he is a “weakness” to Regina. Cora thinks power is the only true source of happiness, and she also wants Regina to herself. In order to protect Henry from Cora, Rumple could somehow sacrifice his Dark One powers, most likely via True Love’s Kiss from Belle and perhaps also winning back Bae’s respect for him. Rumple needs to choose who he truly loves over his addiction to magic.

MRJ as Baelfire was rocking those blue cotton socks off of Rumple! I cannot wait for more of the father-son dynamic!
Canadian promo: LOADS of spoilers!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3N5nmELfmA&feature=player_embedded“Emma: You know Hook?
Baelfire: It’s a long story. The short version is that this world wasn’t my first time when I left home.
Emma: No?
Baelfire: It it was, I’d be a couple hundred years old by now.”Baelfire knew Captain Hook previously, Bae went to another world before coming to ours, and Bae didn’t age for centuries! All of this screams one thing to me: Baelfire is Peter Pan!
I still don’t think Bae’s “Peter”. I think he might know Peter, though. K&H said we won’t see Peter this season. Maybe Bae leads us to seeing Peter next season.
Agreed. Bae could simply be one of the Lost Boys, not Peter Pan himself.

ModeratorHe might not still be THE Peter Pan, but at least a Lost Boy. I kinda want Peter Pan to be someone else.

ModeratorThe real town of Steveston, where Once is filmed, has an ice cream shop that sells flavors inspired by the show and characters. It’s really cool!:

ModeratorI hope “Manhattan” can at least get 10 million viewers. It’s such a pivotal episode of the series, and it has been hyped much more than the majority of episodes.

After reading that spoiler tweet about Rum’s father being a ”coward”, I really hope his dad is the cowardly lion but I don’t know who his mother could be.
The candidates I have for Rum’s mother: Dorothy, Any of the Wicked Witches in Oz, Glinda, or somebody completely different that doesn’t live in Oz. .
The only problem with this theory is that it was heavily suggested by Jefferson’s discussion with Rumple in “The Doctor” that the events of The Wizard of Oz occurred while Jefferson was in Oz trying to acquire the ruby slippers, or it was at least rather close to when those events happened. Rumple’s early days were about 300 years before that.

I think August told Neal he was Pinocchio, so that prompted Neal to say he was Baelfire. That’s what I assumed. But what I do think is that August didn’t tell Bae that he was going to see his father.
A new theory just popped into my head: What if the item inside August’s box that he showed Neal was a magic bean? Neal would instantly recognize that as magical and know for a fact that August knows what he’s talking about! But the question is, how did August obtain one?
That would be very interesting, and if true it could be a reason why the writers had August missing in action at the start of the Season. If August had been present for the whole “Snow and Emma are trapped in FTL” scenario, he would have offered his bean as help. Of course, the bean wouldn’t have been able to fully help, since the bean portal is a one way trip.

ModeratorTVByTheNumbers is also a good source for examining ratings and how Once stands this Season:
http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/02/12/abc-revenge-nashville-downgraded-to-likely-renewed/168995/
They also post the ratings for each week.MatthewPaul
ModeratorAs stated before, these lower ratings are the fault of both the NFL championship game from before the hiatus and the Grammy’s from last Sunday. It still did better than the rest of the shows in that timeslot. People also feel that the way the recent hiatus being 3 weeks long was another factor against the ratings, and it doesn’t help that we have yet another break after this episode because of the Oscars. Ratings should pick up with this episode and the remainder of the Season, since there won’t be more awards shows or football to compete with. If ratings don’t pick up, then I would be really concerned, but I have faith we will get a Season 3.

ModeratorThe one thing that still bothers me is how Eion Bailey and Jakob Davies look nothing alike.
