ModeratorI wonder if the “blatant lie” is that Emma lies to Henry yet again about Neal, as a way to cover up for her previous lie. She might not be ready to let Henry know, and she’ll just tell Henry that “he’s just Gold’s son. Nothing more.”

ModeratorHonestly, I think Hook might try to persuade Bae against Rumple. He is still Millah’s son, and Hook’s comment “What makes you think his son wants to be found? Do that boy a favor” implies that he doesn’t have any hate for him. Hook would of course tell Bae how Rumple killed his mother. Even if Millah abandoned him, I doubt Bae would forgive his own father killing his own mother. Belle might have been willing to forgive Rumple for his past actions, but it’s much more complicated for Bae.

AHHHHHHHHHHH. <--this might be only reaction to all the spoilers we get about this episode. It needs to be here NOW Do we think that Nealfire will even know who “Mr. Gold” is? He shouldn’t know their SB names unless August and he have been in communications all along.
Yeah I wouldn’t think he would know the name Gold…but I wonder what questions Neal was asking her…I would think she would be the one with all the questions.
Judging from the promo, it’s likely Neal spotted Rumple with Emma before he ran off.

I’m definitely thinking Ben and Owen are a young Greg and his dad (or uncle or other kind of fatherly figure). The Star Wars nod and them being called “outsiders” seals it.
Hmm… I wonder if Greg was just a guy who was living in the area who got pulled into Storybrooke when it was formed by the curse.
What would also be cool if he’s a FTL character who lost their memory when they crossed the town border.
Didn’t Henry say at the beginning of season one that no one can cross the border because something “bad” will happen? Maybe young Greg was the reason that rumor and knowledge exists. Maybe something “bad” happened to him (or his dad) when they crossed.
Which would explain why Greg is so interested in what Belle can remember (barring her seeing magic); maybe he wants to know her experience with the mind wipe?
But wouldn’t Greg and his father already have their FTL memories replaced like everyone else in Storybrooke? It’s also heavily implied that the town line making you forget only happened as a price for Rumple bringing magic. Prior to the curse breaking, nobody besides Henry could even leave Storybrooke.

ModeratorHm, if Rumple’s father really is in this episode, I have a guess who will be playing him. In the press release, David Quinlan is listed as simply “father.” Could it be him?

They have occasionally come out a bit earlier. They don’t usually debut on a website that you need special access to though. That’s a new thing as far as I know.
Nah, all of the press releases/promotional photos/videos are always on abcmedianet first. The site is basically for journalists/press people, and those people post whatever material is on there on their own sites with permission. In other words, this is where those other sites get everything.

Of course they had to choose this ep in particular to start holding the sneak peeks hostage. 😈 Just had a look at youtube and it’s still not up there yet.
Sneak peeks normally don’t start showing up until later in the week, Wednesday at the earliest. It’s normal.

ModeratorI’m glad that, according to Barbara, we finally find out what August had in his box when he met Neal! She also said that it is NOT a picture of the dagger, nor is it that drawing of Bae.
