If they go to comic con they’ll film at least 2 episodes before they go. So they better be using comic con if they go wisely to assure fans of some of their worries for this new season, etc.

I just realized that D23 Expo will be the week before SDCC. D23 is on July 14th-16th, while SDCC is on July 20th-23rd. So OUAT could be appearing at both, or they’ll choose one event over the other with them being so close.

Not exactly filming related, but here’s a cool photo of the two Henry actors together, Jared and Andrew:

Amazing to watch this guy's journey over the years. So much great work. Honored to pick up the thread. @Jared_Gilmore pic.twitter.com/sj3VUsZk1Q

they’d make Jadis the White Witch out to be sympathetic because a guy broke her heart and so she turned everything to winter to match her cold

And like others have mentioned, we sorta already got her via Elsa and Ingrid. It’s very possible that C.S. Lewis took inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen’s Snow Queen, as there are plenty of similarities between the White Witch and the Snow Queen.

Not surprised. Narnia is still protected under copyright, and Disney doesn’t even have the film rights anymore.

No. At least not IMO. The ratings would have to be extremely low (like .4) and even then ABC didn’t pull American Crime with it’s .3/.4 because they needed to have *something* there. And ABC has fairly loyal to OUAT. They’ll let it play out. I wouldn’t say no to them reshuffling possibly, though it’ll be HARD to find a place with A.I. going to Sundays.

Not to mention, Fridays are a low priority night. Aside from Saturday, it’s the least viewed night of the entire week. I imagine ABC is fine with their lower rated genre shows like OUAT and AoS airing on Fridays no matter what, at least for this upcoming Season. They are more concerned about fixing the rest of the week, including OUAT’s former Sunday home. However, if there were to be some sort of consequence due to ratings being too low even for Fridays, ABC could technically cut the episode order down. I don’t think they would cut the episode order either, though, when one of the main reasons for the renewal was because of their deal with Netflix. Plus, I haven’t really heard of veteran shows having their episode order cut like that.

Mod Note: I’m going to have to politely ask both sides to please calm down with the antagonizing.

Why do I get the impression that Ra’s Al Ghul is the true leader of the Court of Owls? They cast him for this Season, and he’s set to appear in the finale. The Court could be a front for the League of Assassins.

I think the curiosity for what a Season 7 will look like, given the many changes, it’s quite possible the season premiere will pull a 1.0 in ratings. Afterwards, I believe we’ll tick down to a 0.8 by the second episode…worst case scenario being a 0.5-0.6 by the end of the first half.

Though with the new season, do you guys think they’ll split it like they’ve been doing the last few seasons, or go back to S1-S2 style.

It’s a curious question, cause OUAT wouldn’t have to schedule around most of the Winter events on Fridays, except for the Olympics I guess. I think Adam and Eddy will want minimal interruptions, though, since they actually lobbied for the split-Season scheduling for Season 3 onwards. So maybe it’ll either be an even split with a hiatus from December-March like the past few Seasons, or they could do what Agents of SHIELD did this Season by splitting it up into 3 split arcs (7-8 episode per arc).

Yes how on earth did that happen? Did she too wave a wand and say some gibberish? Actually now that you point this out, I half wonder if Sara Tomko will become a regular.

I wouldn’t say regular, but I definitely sense that she’ll be recurring. Most likely she’s a way of trying to add some much needed diversity to the show. That’s also why Henry’s daughter is Latina, and presumably her mother will be as well.
