Well its official- The end.
Im so glad they Finaly ended this- it was one of these long deaths that tragedies are known for. Which to me are first *eye rolling* then *Oh Lords! Look away*. ..

[adrotate group="5"]2) Weaver? Names usually mean something on this show. Honestly the first thing that came to mind was “dream weaver” but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
I think weaver might just be close enough to spinner, which Mr. Gold certainly is.
I like this.. LOL! His name is now Weaver. So before he was just a spinner, now he is a weaver.. LOL that IS character growth 😉
Was he spinning lies before, perhaps now he is weaving a net for someone to get caught in? I love Rumple always being dodgy.
I just wanted to give my two cents on this even though this convo might be over by now.
As most of you know, if you’ve read any of my previous posts, I love Regina’s character but I agree that she, as well as all of the Once characters, are not written with consistency or in a real believable way. Yes Regina has changed –the reasons for it IMO has not always been personal growth, but also a lot of plot convenience and fanservice.
I think the creators have a lot of good ideas for the show along with a lot of bad ones, but as far as the good ones go they are just not that good at bringing them to life.
This new curse I Do like as an idea for story and exploration of character, but I have my doubts as to whether they will be able to tell the story and have the characters move in it in a satisfactory way.
Back to Regina’s character growth- IMO the only time I really saw her character make a believable step in her redemption(I hate that word) was in the 2 season in one of the first eps-When she gave Henry permission to go live with Charming, because she understood that she wouldn’t win his love by holding onto him with force. After that, all other steps she took towards becoming “good” felt like they were being forced on to her from the writer’s side. This, as mentioned by others, also is to do with the fact that she never actually deals (emotionally or thought-wise) with all the mistakes she has made in her past. Also, nor do the other characters around her really confront her with them.
So In my mind the “real version of Regina” is still stuck in that moment with Henry on the steps.. Everything else Regina does are different versions of her 🙂 Just my humble opinion..
Well I for one am very intrigued and exited to see a different version of this character yet again.
The Queen has been my fave from the first season and is by now the main reason I cant just stop watching the show even though so many other things about it annoys the H out of me.
Its also great for the actors Parilla, Carlyle and O’Donoghue that they get to do new stuff every year, even when they stick with the same show for so many years.
Now about this Roni: She is a bar owner… I LOVE THAT!… Regina can still mix her “potions” 😀 I cant wait to find out the names of those drinks.. I cant wait to see more of the interior of the bar and to hear some “possibly” deep “ower the counter conversations”
She is “hopeless” and “asleep” lolz well thats like the other cursed characters in the first season. I would just really like it if a romance is NOT the solution to Reginas problem this time around. Please no more Princes or thiefs on white horses storming in to save the day. But Id have no problem with her having a little thing on the side.. preferably a hot thing.. like season 1’s sheriff Graham.
But I hope for her story to be about working together with these other new characters to defeed this curse and help with whatever trouble they are in. Somehow, because of them now being in a bigger city, I have a feeling this season could be more about community and folks coming together to build something on top of what has fallen. If you get my drift?… Atleast I would like for it to be about something like that.
I havent seen the Disney film with Tiana and Mr Facilier, but from what Ive just read on wiki, Facilier sounds like he fits OUAT like a glove. Id like him as a main villain for the season.
Id also like to see Goldilocks and the 3 bears and Peter and the wolf 🙂
I also think doing the hunchback could be really offensive.
Yeah, I guess doing Hunchback would be tricky for two main reasons: 1) The presentation of a deformed person with disabilities, especially if they have Quasimodo talk with a speech impediment from being deaf like in the novel. 2) The religious part.
Why though? They could have Quasimodo on the show without making a joke of people with disabilities… wasnt he a hero in his story? As I remember it he was, atleast in the Disney version.

Hey a thought acured to me. I think they are gonna do a crimesolving storyline like “Who left this shoeprint at the crimescene” leading back to Cinderella and make it a paralell to when MaryMargereth was acused of murdering Katherine. Lolz…just playing… but its possible.
I get exited reading these filming notices- Yeah! a scene with someone running from a car 😀 ;P

Like I pointed out in the other thread, the “darkness” begins to take the shape of a person as it approaches Henry. It happens pretty quickly and swiftly but the dark mass clearly becomes smaller and forms the outline of a person. So I’m guess curses can be people now? Or people can become cursed. Or A&E are introducing obscuri (is…is that the plural of obscurus?)
In which thread did you talk about this? I would like to read it.
If a curse could BE a person/ or a person be a curse- that would be interesting. I would like to see that approach.. If that is so then Who would be the curse?? If it was a curse on Henry, maybe it could be Cinderella? Love can feel like a curse 😉 And instead of Cinderella having a crush on Henry, she would have a curse on him ..lol (okay I just being silly)
But if Cinderella is the curse because they are in love, that will be a very sad story so I hope not.. Who else could maybe BE a curse??

‘Nother thing- Its a very good idea for the creators that they brought in a new kid for the show, it needed that, now that Henry was getting too grown. The “truest believer” and “kid with the fairytale book” thing- just didnt fit him any more.
