Uuhh yes! The first sneak- awsome. Its so fun to see what kind of dynamics there is between Henry and EQ.. more please, more!!.. I cant wait too see where they are gonna take these two together. I dont think EQ feels much if any love for Henry yet (as some have suggested) as well as he doesnt for her, but that might change along the way.
I see the Evil Queen as much different from what she was when she was a part of Regina. As MAtt says, she is much more theatrical. She reminds me a little of Rumple when he is Rumplestiltzkin. I think I like the Evil Queen best when she has that undercurrant of sadness, like in the first 2 seasons, but its nice to see her like this too. It makes sense that she is missing sort of her “human” part now that she is seperated from Regina.
The second clip was veeerryy long… But Im exited for Nemo’s story.
[adrotate group="5"]GrimmsisterParticipantSo nobody sees what Im talking about??
Is this again one of those things that only makes sense in my head…. seriously I think the theory I came up with makes a lot of sense…
GrimmsisterParticipantRegina made a different kind of locator spell which connects the the magic of two saviours so that they could find Aladdin, correct?
However it shouldn’t have worked since Aladdin used the scissors to cut his path as the Saviour. Like Jafar said, using the scissors makes him powerless. So he doesn’t have any magic. Is there anyone else who thinks that this is a plot hole? Or do you believe that there is more to the story —
I believe there is more to the story. I dont think its a plothole, but possibly a clue to this–
(-The dead corpse in the crypt (which also had the scarab) was dead “Savior Aladin” This is also the reason Emma was led directly to the dead corpse in the crypt and not directly to the other Aladin, who was hiding in the back of the crypt. The locator spell that Regina made was supposed to lead Emma to the Savior- and thats what it did, it led her to the dead Savior Aladin….and this other Aladin, who is still walking around is the Dark/bad/some-type-of-evil part of Aladin.-) copied from different thread
I have a more thought out theory on this in this thread-
GrimmsisterParticipantUh I like the look of the Nautilus and Captain Nemo, Im very exited for this story.
And I like that they put persian carpets in there,, so it will be like a magic carpet ride maybe 🙂
But is Hook just sweaty or did he swim down there ? Maybe Nemo and his crew saved him from drowning.
October 24, 2016 at 5:45 pm in reply to: Theory on Evil Queen, the shears and Emma as Savior #329213GrimmsisterParticipant(copied from a different post- sorry about that but I didnt see how else to do it and put it together)
-Emma’s visions are only the “possible” future. She is seeing the outcome of what will happen if she uses the shears and severs herself from her “Savior Emma side”
This is a parallel to Regina/Evil Queen. What happens is that by severing themselves, they dont get rid of any sides, they only bring their inner fights to the outside world.
What Emma sees in her visions are Dark Emma killing Savior Emma (like we have sort of already theorised) It was said in the episode, that the Savior always dies… Hmmm so maybe thats what always will happen if you use the shears. And the magic of these shears, is probably dark magic,, so that seems fitting that the price of using it will be the death of the good part of yourself.
This is therefor allso what happened to Aladin. The dead corpse in the crypt (which also had the scarab) was dead “Savior Aladin” This is also the reason Emma was led directly to the dead corpse in the crypt and not directly to the other Aladin, who was hiding in the back of the crypt. The locator spell that Regina made was supposed to lead Emma to the Savior and thats what it did, it led her to the dead Savior Aladin….and this other Aladin, who is still walking around is the Dark/bad/some-type-of-evil part of Aladin.-
GrimmsisterParticipantIs there something about the doppelgangers being unable to lie or kill?
Hmmm, interesting! Not sure about the lying part, but it would be pretty hilarious if they are unable to kill. Trying to remember if we saw Hyde kill anyone… It would explain why the evil queen hasn’t killed anyone yet and is actually trying to get them to tear themselves apart.
Hmmm yes I was thinking something along these lines too. Very interesting… the plot thickens!!
GrimmsisterParticipantWe saw that Jafar’s parrot also was an oracle, so here is my question–
(copied from a different post) -Was the parrot and the girl oracle one and the same? I didnt quite get that,, but the parrot was the oracle right? and so was the girl, so the girl was the parrot, but in her Storybrook version, just like Archie is a man and not a cricket in Storybrook… usually.
GrimmsisterParticipantWell we will see.
But right now I think that the stuff that points to this in the Aladin story, is this: The scarab laying by dead corpses side, makes me think that dead corpse was Aladin. Therefor there are now 2 Aladins- One dead One alive.
The “prophesy” said that the savior is destined to die. It was Jafar that said it wasnt it? and he gave Aladin the shears because he knew the only way to get rid of Savior Aladin was for bad Aladin to kill him.
GrimmsisterParticipantwhich part of Emma–Savior or non Savior–do we see getting stabbed? Emma kills the Savior side of her (the one that is constantly shaking) and her “non Savior” side lives. Except then Emma realizes she needs to be the Savior, that it’s part of her identity and the second half of S6 is about re-Savior-ing Emma.Lol this is confusing.. Hmmm.. The way I see it is. There are gonna be two sides to Emma that we are gonna see on the show. The bad and the good side.. in Emma it is Dark Swan=bad and Savior=good. Like there are two sides to Regina/EQ, to Jekyll/Hyde and now Aladin- Bad Aladin/Savior Aladin.
But the vision is only one possible outcome of the future.. if Emma doesnt use the shears, she wont need to be re-Savior-ed. And if she does use them, she will be destined to die, or the savior part of her will be.
edited in: Okay I think you were probably saying the same thing there, I just got confused. llol 🙂
October 24, 2016 at 4:00 pm in reply to: 6 X 05 STREET RATS – – – – What were your favorite and least favorite moments #329192GrimmsisterParticipantI watched the whole episode 🙂 I said somewhere that I would only watch certain clips on yotube, because I couldnt sit through a whole episode anymore, but I changed my mind. So trying to just cast all plotholes and corny writing aside…And now Once is totally getting into my blood again.
I loved the Aladin and Jasmin story. I liked the colors of Agraba. We saw Abu “help” Aladin. and the parrot (forgot its name) was also there. Was the parrot and the girl oracle one and the same? I didnt quite get that,, but the parrot was the oracle right? and so was the girl, so the girl was the parrot but in her Storybrook version, just like Archie is a man and not a cricket in Storybrook… usually.
speaking of crickets, that was my FAVE moment. Zelena turning Archie into his cricket self and the scenes of Evil Queen and Zelena leading up to that. lol lol !!! Fave Fab moments !!
