Im signing you for 3 out. A reminder in case you had not seen thihs- 3 out is the chapter with the “pivotal moment” and it is the point of no return one, so basicly one of the most important chapters of the Whole story.

your questions: 1-No not like that, first comes all of the 7 chapters of the “home” section, then all the 7 chapters of the “out” section and last the 3 chapters of “home Again” section

3-Rumbelle is pretty much endgame I guess, like Snowing. I doubt anyone would want to write them with other people, but perhabs with books like you said in chat 😉

Because I don’t believe in damnation the idea of redemption never makes that much sense to me either. What done is done, and there is no payment, no punishment able to ever change that. When someone did something evil and finally understands it was evil and assumes responsibility instead of trying to explain it away with whatever, they have to live with that. No redemption.
But I believe people can change. And if they change and do things differently and do good I won’t held what evil they did in the past against them for the rest of their lives. Even better if they do something to help make the lives of those they made suffer better again, but anything good is a change.
There is no redemption, someone did evil and has to live with that. There might be forgiveness on the side of the victims, but that is of no importance for the one who did them evil, only important for those forgiving, for the sake of their souls, to be able to move on, to see the good still possible in life.
So no, neither Rumple nor Regina are redeemed, never will be. But what they can do is change.
Depending on what they make now of the situation with Marian and Robin would say Regina might be on a way to change. Yes, she lashed out to Emma, but she still can do things differently.
Concerning Rumple: Unless he starts to seriously look for a way to get rid of the curse of the Dark One, to destroy the dagger for good if any possible, but at least seriously goes on a quest to find a way, regardless if he will succeed, I say Rumple hasn’t changed much, at best on the surface. As long as he is the Dark One he will not truly change and stays the big bad of the show.
Yes Yes And Yes to all of this. Oh Myril ! why are you always able to say the Things I am also thinking in such a clear and well put way?… Its not fair 😉 no, just kidding. Im glad you put it so well, this is exactly the same way I feel.
What ever bad thing a person has done in the past, is something they will always have to live with. And if they ever are able to understand, that what they did was wrong and change for the better, that is really all that matters. If you did wrong today, all you can do is change what you do tomorrow. That is the only form of “Redemption” I truely believe in. The punishment does not matter. The punishment for the sake of punishing, is just as much an act of “evil” as anything else.
I especially liked what you said about the forgiveness, from the people who were wronged. That forgiveness is most important for the victim and not for the ‘criminal’ or wrong-dooer.
No. They havent. I guess will be my short answer for this. But then comes the question when is punishment enough punishment and is it done to punish only, or as a “side effect” of trying to help redeem them. But I dont think this can completely be apleyd on to the show. Because in real life massmurderes are not like what our Rumple and Regina are and they live in a different reality… obviously 😉
But really I hate the Word redeemed. I feel like it Mean,s when you are redeemed your past wrongs will be considered undone. And this is in my opinion, never possible. So in that sense, Rumple and Regina will never be redeemed. But that doesnt mean they can not change and be good people all the same, just not redeemed people.

By Z fighting her she unknowingly was the reason Regina was “unseated” as the realms greatest evil. Thats why it was Evil vs Wicked. And also kind of like how ‘the boy will be your undoing’ was Pan vs Rumple.

We start on Sunday May 18th. So more people have a chance to sign up before we begin. I think a limit to the lenght of a post is a good idea but 3 paragraphs is not very long, unless you write very long paragraphs..
How about no less than 400 Words and no more than 2000 Words ?
Also Wat, may I create the thread that we write the story in? because then I will start the thread with listing the chapters and the writer’s names, so everyone reading can always look to the first post for a clear view of how many chapters are left and such.
It’s a fairytale so we build it up like home-out-home
7 first posts are the ‘Home’ section, where we set up the story, we introduce characters, look at what our known Once characters are doing now with their extended family etc. Perhaps include a bit of coziness and the occasional Thanks Giving dinner at Granny’s. But also home is whatever situation they are in as we leave them in the last episode “There is no place like home” Here We also introduce our villains, but there must be a secretive factor about them so don’t reveal all their plans at once. We reveal what is going to be the obstacles for the heroes to overcome, and stuff happens that makes things worse for our heroes and they try to figure out what to do. Then something happens in the number 7 post that make our heroes go on the quest to set things right.
7 next posts are the ‘Out’ section, where we fight the big bads Cunfusius and Plot Devicius and their evil agenda (to tell bad stories and corrupt storyteller-witches like Adam Horrorwitch and Eddy Kisses perhaps?). Include magical sword fights, true love kisses and whatever you can think of. The 3 first of these posts must be trying to figure out a way to fight them but failing. The last post of the first 3, is the point of no return. The 4 last posts are fighting, winning and undoing the evil that these villains have cost.
The 3 last posts are the ‘Home again’ section, where our heroes are coming home, after having defeated the big bad (or not).. The three last writers has the final say on the end of the story, be it a happy ending or not.

Adding posts to fit the number of writers, will be done at the little star- * (look below at the post numbers) But you have to sign up before Sunday 18th of May, the day we start. If we end up only being, say three people signing up, we will just take one section each. One person can sign up for no more than 2 posts, so if you want to write one of the first seven posts in the Home section, you can do that and also sign up to write one of the last posts. But if you choose to only write one post that is fine as well ofcourse.

I have created ‘post-numbers’ or codes for each individual post, so everyone knows which post they are going to be writing before hand and hopefully it wont end up a giant mess.
Below are the post-numbers/codes of the posts you can sign for, write your name and the post-number of the post you want to write (remember you can choose to sign for one or two posts) you have to check that no one has signed for the post you want, before you choose. It’s a ‘Who ever comes first’ deal, so first to choose gets first pick. Some posts also includes the ‘pivotal moments’ where the writer has to take extra special care of what happens in the story, it must be something that reaches beyond hers or his post in what it means for the characters. Also readers of these posts that are going to write the following posts must consider these moments and try to include them and what they meant for the characters in their own posts.
1 home, 2 home, 3 home(‘pivotal moment’ the villains and their power can no longer be ignored), 4 home, 5 home,*, 6 home, 7 home(‘pivotal moment’ the hero/heroes chooses to go on the quest)
1 out, 2 out, 3 out(‘pivotal moment’ point of no return), 4 out, 5 out,*, 6 out, 7 out(‘pivotal moment’ Our heroes wins (or maybe they just think they won))
1 home Again, 2 home Again, 3 home Again End(before signing for this one look at (Ps:) below)
Ps: If a lot of people want to join in and write the chapter ‘3 home Again End’ and tell the ending of the story, then maybe we can figure out a way for more people to write that and not just one, so if ‘3 home Again End’ is taken but you also wanted to join in and write that, just say so in your sign-up post and we will try to make it work (but this only goes for the End post, the others are taken when signed for)

And if you feel a bit lost about where to start or intimidated by all these rules and stuff, don’t worry and don’t let it stop you. Sign up and we will roll with it together and figure it out along the way. This doesn’t have to be perfect, it’s just us having fun together.

Thats different Cinders, the characters were not trapped and in imidiate danger from Z once Regina took her pendant and powers away.
Problem is RG villains never want that chance that they are offered first of. They think they are justified in what ever villainous thing they are doing, otherwise they wouldnt have been doing it in the first place. Regina didnt want her second chance offered to her by Snow, she didnt want the third, the fourth the… twentiest either but thank God circumstanced and Snows good patience made it so that she is still around to take her chance this number one hundreth time its offered to her.. I say it was worth the wait.
You can argue that maybe giving Z this chance would have proved a bad choice- if Z somehow did break out of jail, got her powers back and somehow killed you, or one of your loved ones. Snow giving Regina chances sure did end up in many close calls for Snow and her loved ones, but in the end it proved to be the right choice still. So there is no easy answer. But only that you have to bet on the good outcome, if you want to do the right thing.
