I always just thought it was Z that cast the curse. But now it dawned on me that ofcourse it must be Hook. Thats why he is the only one with memories intact and could leave Storybrook to get Emma. And why we had to see his backstory and be told he loves his ship like it was his lady.
And yes the seance bit was weird with him. Why in the name of Medusa would anyone feel forced to cross their legs in the middle of a seance, when there is a twirling blue hole of nothing above their head? Wouldnt you, even if you were a daredevil Pirat, sit kind of still, you know in “defence mode” and wait for what was coming?
I think he must have cast the curse to get everyone away from Z, but that didnt exactly Work.. thats also a reason why he is so mopey. He feels responsible for putting everyone in this jam where they cant get away from the witch.

But alas the 3 terrible wizards- Kisses, Horrorwitch and Wickedly Jane, has taken my beautiful baby and send it to the far away land of Willneverbeputonscreen. I feel very sad to let this one go.

Sometimes the silliness of this show just gets to me, and it makes me sad, because I still love it so much.

An apology erases all past mistakes (Im thinking of Regina here. After all the things she has done, like kill an entire village for instance. How crazy she was and out of touch with reality. And now she seems like she is the sanest, most kind person there? What did I miss? My fave character is Regina by the way)

Flying hooded ghosts that jumps in to and possess people- so 80’s, couldn’t they have thought of a better visual way to do those scenes. Also too much like Charmed, that was a bad bad show..

The Acting and the relations between the characters, especially Regina and Snow. And surprisingly also between Rumple and Z. I enjoyed that, but I had to try to forget the history between Regina and Snow to enjoy it, because it doesn’t make sense that they would act this way with each other, considering all the years of hate that they have experienced with each other. But as, an individual scene/scenes between a step-mother and daughter it was very beautiful and heartwarming.
And the poor cute little baby Z. I felt tears when Cora put her down in the middle of the woods and just left her there.
Oh so you’re saying that Z gets rid of Regina somehow- kills her, or hides her in the closet 😀 And then pretents that she (Z) was always Coras daughter and Snows stepmother.
Yes I kinda like that. That would also fit with Z seemingly playing dollhouse with Rumple in this nights ep.
She is creating her own Little play World, with the other characters as Dolls she can move around as she pleases.

This is also my experience. I have often gotten very exited because I was convinced of something that was going to happen on the show, but then it didnt. And I felt very disapointed.
As you point out there is a bright side to this because we can always write fanfiction. I found that that was exactly what helped me. I wrote some fanfiction stories on what I thought might happen on the show, but then when it didnt, I didnt care so much, because I had already seen the story play out the way I had imagined it and now I just saw it play out a different way on the show.
Also I feel like discussing our own theories on this forum is so much fun. Its fun when we guess correctly what is going to happen on the show, but also very much so when our guesses dont come true on the show..we just come up with all kinds of different stories be they crack crazy, humoristic and what not.
At the begining when I realized Once was not exactly what I thought it would be I was angry and disapointed with the writing “Are they crazy!!! What are they doing!! Why dont they use this great material they have!!” But now I feel more that the writers are doing their best with the story the way THEY WANT to tell it, there are probably other factors too like Money and Network stuff, but thats a nother story.
Okay the following is not what I think will happen on the show, not that it couldn’t, but I would be very surprised if I hit the nail that straight on, especially after what we learned from last nights con spoilers. And as I think many of you will say “Its Waaay too complicated. Remember not to pi ss of the GA” 😉
So It is more an adventure into trying to understand how a time-paradox/time-loop/grandfather..thing might work. So this is just my imagination going wild, binging on time travel-loopyness extraordinaire.
Last night I had a MAYOR break through and found a big big problem with the time-loop. The problem is-
Wouldn’t everything always have to go back to the day of the Twister? So that we would never get any further? Because ofcourse if Z always ends up sending back baby and restarting time, then how would we ever get past that day of Z sending back baby?? OH UH! Big problems.. Maybe this is what SUR have been trying to tell me in all her posts and I just didn’t get it? How about it SUR?
Anyway, I found a possible solution, but hold on tight its gonna get freaky.
What is different about the OR timeline and is made to be different because of the AR timeline? Regina is, so she will be the solution to the problem. On the day that Z sends back baby Snowflake, Regina is both baby and adult- Because in this theory, Regina is the Snowflake. Emma, having “come back” from the AR timeline, will have to “boost” start the OR timeline back up to prevent never ending time-looping, by giving back adult Regina a “Regina heart” How will she do this? She will have had to have brought it with her from the AR timeline, since Reginas heart in the OR timeline was fried as one of Z’s curse ingredients.So Emma will have to have taken it from the version of Regina living in OZ. AR Emma must travel there. At the time that AR Emma gets to Oz, Oz Reggie is an old lady, because the Rumple/Regina curse never happens in AR. Emma takes Oz Reggie’s heart and Oz Reggie dies. (This is also Emmas terrible going Dark moment :O ..dam dam dam dammmm!!!). Then Emma goes back to AR and from here she goes back in time to the day of the Twister to exchange babies. But Wait- AR Emma will seize to exist as soon as she has put things right with the babies, therefor she must first find a way to get the Reggie heart to our OR Regina in the future, she can not timetravel on the OR timeline because OR is not the reality yet. So Emma enchants the Reggie heart and puts it on the cover of a very familiar book :)-Cora’s spell book *Grimmsistr dances in joy over this idea*
Emma then takes little baby Z with her and leaves baby Regina, whom she just saved from the Twister, in her place. Emma places baby Z in the Twister and AR Emma seizes to exist in this reality.OR Emma and AR Emma now merges so OR Emma from now on has both sets of memories and are in a kind of middle reality or before reality, event horizon 😉 (This is very possible, I tell you. This happened to me just yesterday) So Merged Emma wakes up in the future OR. As the only one waking up after Z enacts her curse, she would be stuck there as the only one to ever awake, if she didn’t have any means of starting the OR Timeline back up. But now she has the heart, she takes it from the book and puts it in Regina. And the timeline after the curse is “boosted” into existence again, like by a heart-starter machine.
Emma lives up to her true savior and phoenix-bird-resurrector self and everyone hugs, goes to Thanks Giving dinner at Granny’s and lives happily until tomorrow.
Maybe even Z gets a little happiness, after she mopishly and sourly excuses herself from the scene and goes to hide in the woods, where she meets Kermit. They talk about how not easy it is being green and realizes that they are true loves.
SUR_If we are just going throw stuff on the table & say has to be possible because of “fantasy/Magic”, then Rumple should just legit kill WW, because he is the DO & despite the dagger’s power over him- it’s a fantasy show! Who cares about the ‘rules’ that govern how things work- anything can happen
No no.. not what Im saying. Im saying.. it’s a story on its own. we don’t have to have all the rules of our real world aply to the story. We only have to make it work within the stories own sets of rules. Not any rules would be chaos and frankly boring. But one cool thing about fantasy stories, is that we get to make up rules that are different from our real world rules.

Z want to kill Eva in the past :O RG was correct in assuming Z would want to alter something further in the past then her own birth. What does this mean for our time-altering theory???

RG_Agreed. Emma is vital to Rumple. But maybe that’s the point? She’s vital to HIM, not Zelena. If Zelena can figure out a way to make sure there is no Savior, then she’s won over Rumple, Regina, and Snowing
Yes I think this is why she wants Hooks kiss to take away Emmas magic.RG_The more we talk the more I become convinced that Zelena is working off a false assumption, that being that Cora abandoned Zelena. So long as Zelena thinks Cora left her in the woods, then she feels justified in her actions. But if we, the audience learn otherwise, then that makes for dramatic irony.
Exactly I think Z’s demise is going to be her false beliefs. She believes Cora abandoned her, but really everything that goes wrong from the day of the twister taking her baby-self to Oz, is because of her own wrongdoings.

RG-The writers will pretty much do whatever they want “rule” wise and say, “no one understand the actual universe anyway, so we can go with our own rules.”
Well yes and in that I very much agree with the writers
RG_Whatever is happening in 321/322 has to set up S4, at least the first half. If Zelena succeeds in creating an alternate reality where she has “won” (defeated Regina, Rumple, and Snowing) then we’re going to be in a parallel alternate universe and the main thrust of S4A will be getting everyone back to their original timeline or chain of events.
I think so too. Dang its going to be so hard waiting all hiatus to get answers to how they make things right again
