I’ve said this before, but I don’t put too much stock in what that baby looked like. Newborn actors would be slim pickings to start with I’d imagine, and then if you wanted to specify that you needed a half Latina newborn, and you needed multiples on set to make sure there was at least one happy, awake baby at the time when they’d be needed for filming…it’s just not realistic to expect that they could get a newborn that’s a perfect match for Regina.
Could be that they wouldnt have too many babies too choose from. But I cant imagine that they couldnt have atleast picked one with Brown hair, had they wanted too. A redhead looks pretty much the opposite of grown up Regina. Perhabs they didnt care much what the baby looked like, but then they would be contradicting themselves, when they went out of their way too cast Latin actors for her Family…
I dont know, too me it just makes perfect sence that, that baby is not actually the Regina we know. But Im not saying I couldnt be totally wrong… has happened many times with throrizing on this show 😉

They should have used these kind of pictures of castles on Once instead of the cgi ones. That one in this pic is perfect for Snowwhite.
But the Witch isn’t Latina. They specifically cast Latino/Latina actors and actresses for Henry’s family to match Lana. King Xavier and Prince Henry Sr (young and old) were all ethnically identical. Bex Mader is British with flaming red hair
Is it a coincidence that Cora and the WWW both have the flaming red hair….I don’t think so…Not to mention the ever classic Cora spiral curl in WWW’s hair….I don’t even think Regina ever wore her mother’s hairstyle the way the WWW is wearing it.Wicked, You mention they specifically cast people of Latin descent to be Reginas Family. I would change the Whole storyline of Rumplestiltzkin. I see that most people are very much loving his redemption story + him being sweet old grampha Gold and offcourse there is the Rumbelle thing… so people love his story, I get it- So it wouldnt be a wise buisness choice to change Him, but I HATE his story!
Rumplestiltzkin is not suppossed to be a sweet old vulnarable man. Rumple is the little meanspirited woodfairy devil-dwarf. Not human.. I repeat- Not Human! He shouldnt be vulnarable, or be redeemed and he should not regret his mean manipulative ways.
But I just feel this way because that is how I saw the old Rumplestiltzkin tale and I cant seem too change my mind on that thats whoRumple is suppossed to be.
I said I thought it might be Charming that dies I still believe there is a good chance its him. Considering that interview with Rose/Tink when she says its someone unexpected that hasnt been theorized would die. I dont think alot of people would expect Charming to die, but alot of people has theorized that it would be either Hook, Neal or Belle so if we are basing our asumptions on the Rose interview naturally it wont be one o those three then. But that is asuming Rose has heard and knows that people believe the deathto be one of those three.
If it is Charming that dies, that also sort of makes sence storywise, since he was already suppossed to have died in the pilot episode, but was keept on then. Now the story is in a way being brought back too the moment of the first curse, only this time with Wicked enacting it. So maybe Charming will die this time somehow from the same reasons that almost got him killed the first time. Only contradiction is, that we know he doesnt die during the curse being cast, because we have seen filming pics of him being back in New Storybrook… hmm its not so easy this guessing game… It could be that he dies during the act of saving his new Little baby from the Witches Wicked claws? That is what almost got him killed the first time around.
But if the death has to happen because of a real life issue with the actor not being happy or just wanting new grassing grounds, then I dont see it being our Charming Josh. I dont see why he would be unhappy with his role, working on set with his fiance´ and his character being so prominent on the show. If its the “real life reason” I lean more towards it maybe being Belle or Neal, but then that again brings on a problem with Rose’s statement in her interview ???

Phew! I was starting to dread the idea of Leopold and young Cora, but having Princess Eva be there too makes total sense and makes me hopeful there was never a love affair between Cora and Leo.
You’re right Slurp. Only there was a love affair.. though between young Eva and young Prince Henry 🙂
I put my bet on our Charming lad David. Though it may be with trembling hands. Only based on the fact that He was suppossed to have been killed in the very first ep. when the curse hits and he is stabbed by the Queens soldiers, but the writing team desided too keep him then. This time around he might not be so lucky.
Young Prince Leo enters the story for the flashback story of how him and young Princess Eva meet.
After Eva gives birth to her first child ‘RoseRed’ the child she conceived with young Prince Henry out of wedlock(see the changeling theory). Young Eva must now marry a Prince, the kindhearted Prince Leopold agrees to marry her though he knows of her secret childbirth, and also does fall in love with Princess Eva.
This makes the infamous Family tree look something like this-
Prince Henry + Princess Cora – Wicked Witch, then by the name of Regina
Prince Henry + Princess Eva – ‘RoseRed’ taken away from Eva by Rumple to replace Cora and Henry’s Regina without their knowing
Prince Leopold + Princess Eva – Snow White
-Yes, this does make Regina both halfsister too Snow White as well as stepmother, I understand that people have a problem with that, but I dont agree with it. Regina did not marry a man she was bloodrelated too. Is it twisted, yes! sure it is.

I Wonder what kind of relationship they are going to have. Im hoping for a complicated one, atleast in the begining. Maybe they start of really hating eachother, pushing all of the wrong buttons with eachother and have explosive fights 🙂 Then perhabs they are forced to work together to fight Wicked, and that way they get to know eachothers goodsides. And when will Regina notice the lion tatoo 🙂
I would be very disapointed if they just go full on lovedovey-mode like the Charmings 😛 Ewwargh!!.. ‘xcuse me Im not a romantic.
