I very respectfully disagree with you. He did love them both, but it was clouded by the curse and his cowardice..

I feel like you are still saying the same thing as me. He loves Belle and Bae, but there is something clouding his love- cowardice, need for power, suspicion…so then it is not true and pure as long as there is something in his way holding him back preventing him from giving and recieving that true love.I still have my doubts that he would just let go of his power if he had both Belle and Bae with him, he didn’t give it up when he had the chance with Bae and the bean-portal. What has changed for him ? When did he have the epiphany that changed his thinking on this ?

Yeah! I didn’t ge the meaningless part either. Angst, drama, cups being smashed is a good thing 😀 Doesn’t mean the end but happy would mean the end acording to Espensen. When Happy happens that’s when we get the “And they lived happily ever after. The end”
Once is just a very looooooooooong fairytale that will go on for 7-10 years. That’s far to long a time to let a show run for, in my opinion. Dragging stories on for that long makes for a lot of fillers, so in that sense- meaningless in the grand sceme of things, still applies, but thats probably not Espensens opinion.
I liked what she said about black and white world, though it was very vague. I didn’t really get it and then I couldn’t scroll back 😡 But there is something inportant to why it’s in black and white and why people going there from other places stay in color.
Wasn’t the curse Regina enacted called “The Curse To End All Curses”?

I keep thinking that the curse of The Dark One should be stronger then True Loves Kiss.
Or you could say- that it should be impossible for The Dark One to recieve a TrueLoves kiss, because it should be impossible for The Dark One to ‘give’ true love to enyone and therefor impossible for him to ‘resieve’ it, regardless of the fact that someone might be willing to give it to him in the first place.
So in order for the kiss to be recieved by The Dark One, The Dark One’s curse should first be taken of him or be paralysed in some other way.
But perhaps if Reginas curse on Fairytaleland was- ‘The curse to end all curses’ that would be the thing to do just that..I realise that Belle kissing Rumple in -was it Skin Deep- almost looked to be breaking his curse, but then again.. it didn’t. I mean to me being cursed to be THE Dark One is like being cursed to be THE Devil- The one and only. There’s no room for true love there. And Rumple loves Belle and Bae yes, but not unconditionally like you would think true love is unconditional.
I am curious to know how someone controlling The Dark Ones power through the dagger would work ? Would they have total control over Rumples actions and be able to make him kill for instance Belle,like someone suggested, if they wanted to ?

Great idea to have the Beauty and the Beast story play in like that RumplesGirl. I really hope that happens.

Maybe they were triplets and that’s why the Giant confuses Charming for Jack. dont know if that was technically a spoiler, but better safe..They killed Chip 😥 That makes me sad. And that there is yet again a break for several weeks before a new episode, makes me sad. That Cora seemingly have successfully manipulated Regina into taking of down the wrong road with her, makes me sad.
But these are all positive sad things, so to speak. Something else, wich is negative, that I’ve been thinking about for some time, is that it feels like they(Once’s writer team) are skating over storylines to easily.
Think about the Archie being kidnapped story, wich now seems to be resolved. So it was just used as an easy mean to put Regina back in to her mothers arms. That’s fine, but to easy.
And there have been several other things. I wish they would dig deeper, just try to at the least. They got so many delisiously juicy things- the dreams world with the dreamcatcher, wraith and red room thing- the magic vs science thing. Even the parent/child relationship thing, wich they do seem to try and explore a lot, feels like skating on the surface.
Although its not about this episode only, just a feeling i’ve been getting lately.
