So I guess I’m in he minority about this one but I enjoyed this overall…………

Can you explain what was retconned? What character motivation was vague? Poor world building? What popped up as a quick fix? How is this season going in circles?…………..

…………………….As I said above, I think there are very clear arcs and directions this season and I don’t quite get what people are frustrated about. Again, the EQ wanted revenge on Snow and Charming. She got that. She wanted Henry to choose her. She failed, so far. She wanted to side with Gold and get his help. She was successful and then now has failed. She wanted Zelena to choose her over Regina. She sort of got that until now bc Gold backfired and made her try and kill Zelena. Rumple and Belle have gone back and forth the whole season regarding the child and how Rumple wants to change his fate so he would not hate him. And this episode was the climax of that with Rumple ultimately not choosing to do that to Belle but Belle still giving birth bc of the EQ. So what exactly is going in circles here? I have loved this season and will defend it haha………………………….

………………I see a very coherent story line. Apparently no one else does. And then again, they have the over-arching story line with Emma and her dream. Again, I don’t see why people are having a problem with this season at all.Quote

I just popped in to say I agree with you thedarkonedearie 🙂 So you’r not the only one. I love the seaon and I think that, overall, the storyline/lines work. Offcourse there are small bits and pieces that weirds me out as well, but thats to be expected.

Im thinking Rumple found another way to get to his son and then he brought Neal back to the Enchanted forest.

I mean, through the course of the seasons we have seen that it really isn’t that hard to find other ways to travel cross the realms. He never needed the Dark Curse in the first place (which is a big complaint I know a lot of us have with this show) Then Emma and Neal could have had Henry. Perhaps Neal died later, during a war or something, like WickedRegal suggests. Im seriously intrigued by this whole storyline, I cant wait to see how they have put this one together.

And the costumes!!! Is it just me or do they seem even prettier then usually?

YAY! These pictures just got me 10 times more exited for next ep. Not that I wasnt exited already.. We are finally going to see how things would be without the dark curse. Think its gonna be an awsome episode. More YAYs for fairytale costumes!

Question: Is Henry going to be The Savior, now that its taken away from Emma in this Alternate Universe?

Overall I liked the ep. My only thing is, it was a Rumple and Belle centered ep and Im not big on those characters. But trying to throw my own bias out of my head, then I think the ep was solid. Giving it    —7/10

Evil Queen doesnt want to rule alone. I like her dilemma. Now she really is completely alone she has alienated both her “allies”.

Carlyle’s acting in the flashbacks ….YAY!

The Scenes about Belle dreaming …liked those.

Knock Knock .. Who’s there ..Your Evil Aunty ..LOL! But we should have so had an epic witch fight here between Zelena and Evil Queen!! Why Oh Why didn’t they do that ?? Maybe they are saving it for later. It seemed Zelena was holding back, like she didn’t actually want to fight Evil Queen. I saw the throwback to season one when Regina Evil Queen visits Malificent to get the Dark Curse. That is one of my all time fave scenes.

All the Evil Queen scenes this episode. Oh God! I love this character so much. The way she is written and played with So much tension.. Im on the edge of my seat in all her scenes.

The Regina and Zelena scene… AAAWWWWW!! I love this scene. Its Zo beautiful. Awesome acting from them both, but I will point out Rebecca Mader on this one, she got me really emotional ..sobs!!. I also loved the writing for this storyline. I feel confident Regina is going to forgive her sister at some point. Im on nobodys side in this, they both hurt and I feel them both.. so great a scene!

Emma finds the sword from her vision ..Uh Ohh! Exiting End Scene. Liked JMO acting in it too.

MIXED:

Kinda liked the Black Fairy and hope to see more of her. But Im wondering why they bring in this story, of her as Rumples mother now? It seems so all of a sudden..

DISLIKED:

Rumbelle’s relationship is like scary abusive at this point.. Don’t know if this storyline is super great for this type of show. To night’s episode didn’t get me any more invested in their story.. I don’t really care.

The Jasmin/Aladdin story… Don’t care for it! Its filler. The creators haven’t done a good job with this one so far really. Im not at all invested in them. I don’t think Im the only one either.

Something confuses me about this ep’s Sneaks and Trailer. I dont really see what they are going to doo with this ep.

Things could go in all directions really… so I dont know whether to be exited for this ep. Maybe it will be really boring, maybe it will be really scary, maybe I wont understand what the heck is going on….

But not surprisingly, I loved the Evil Queen i this Sneak and I am exited to see if she takes Rumples bait and tries to kill Zelena… I hope she doesnt succeed though, cause I love Zelena.

Also, in terms of costumes and especial effects appears they had people involved in star wars and marvel movies etc, they filmed in Europe and the show has the same director for all episodes and has some great writers, like one of the writers also works for Marvel on comic books. Note: one of the writers is now a new writer on ouat and another was part of OUATW and now writes Lucifer.Quote
