My favorite moment was when Emma said “No. It’s strength.” as she knocked Cora on her backside after Cora failed to take her heart!

It was a very Harry Potterish moment 🙂

Does it make her a kind of good wizard? Nope, or hopefully not. Think any attempt to fully control that power or magic will end badly. Not magic per se is a problem, but wanting full control over it, using it as a power for whatever purpose, no matter what good intention. Look at Rumple, Regina, Cora, they are all corrupted because of wanting to control magic, of seeing it as power to use merely for their own purposes. It might have been more in their personalities to end up being so corrupted by it than maybe other people would be, but trying to control magic is always a dangerous path. And yes, I think the fairies shouldn’t be seen as simple all good beings either, but they are maybe more aware of the dilemma.

So far Emma’s power is more of a passive kind, it’s a power happening when need be. The moment she tries to control it, it will be corrupted, and it will eventually corrupt her. Simple: love and the power / magic coming from it is something you can’t control, and you shouldn’t try to.

Very well explained. Thank you. My thoughts exactly, tried to explain in a nother post but I just couldn’t put them in to nice words like you could 😆

I understand what you mean Price’ I also felt it was a very sad moment. But it was also very good writing and acting- so I loved it 🙂

But Henry is afterall only 10 or 11, so he probably didn’t think about it as turning away from her. He just wanted to have dinner and spent time with his ‘other’ family.

Buhuu! Why do we have to wait so long for next episode…. 😥

I wonder if this cricket thing is going to be a let down. We’re speculating all these great things with Archie, but there’s not even a glimmer of him in the promo.

Other things look awsome though !

Did Snow try too assissinate Evil Queen right there ?? She had a knife in her hand.
    😈 cat fight..meow!!

I really like the idea that all use of magic is bad. It’s this natural acuring thing, that tempts people to take the easy way. It’s good maybe in it’s natural form, but not something for humans to use.
That’s the way I hope they take it anyway.
Emma’s magic was not something she technically used. It more sort of came from her on its own.

I’m not understanding why Regina is being put on a pedestal for saving Snow and Emma.

I didn’t feel bad for her. I wanted to slap her because she started to allow herself to be manipulatedagain

Because we have kind hearts (maybe even kindred hearts 😈 )We only want the misfits too have a chance already…!
You wouldn’t understand Schmacky, you’re one of the dwarfs, of course you’re on Snow and Charmings side 😉

‘Thing is the good guys could have ended that fight right then and there. By letting her ‘in’ with the group. If you’re a good guy, and a ‘savior’ non the least, then forgivness is your thing… But this show doen’t have all through bad guys and they don’t have all through good guys either.. So there!

I keep seing Regina as that little kid on the playground who doesn’t fit in. All the other kids are playing hide and seek- “I found you !!”
But no one wants to find the Regina kid.. Even though she sits behind the bush yelling “Hey …I’m here !”- So at some point that Regina kid, punches out at the next kid too run past the bush. (Hey !…I work at a preeschool 🙄 )

But I liked that they told it this way. Even though I found it so very sad 🙁 As someone said, it is setting it up for later in the season.. Regina’s going to have a tough time staying sober.

    Yeah nice episode!!
    Fav:
-Regina and Henry hugging and then Henry’s of to dinner with his ‘family’- Sad 😥
-The pirat ship in the end-WUHUUU!
-Cora not having a heart 😮 where is it ???

    Least:
-Cora being the Queen of hearts- I was so hoping for a surprise with this one….
-That Hook had this enchanted hook, wich he could have used for BIG things and then he uses it on Aurora, after wich he just hands the freaking heart right back- Sorry but that was a dumb storyline seriously 🙄
