ParticipantI just thought your answers did get a bit punky.
Kidding about the smacking.. it suited your name, so I saw a little opportunity to tease. But a bit hard to smack from behind the computer ๐Is Schmacky a dwarfs name by the way ?

ParticipantWhen is love real love ?
But interesting question you ask, Gypsy. I keep thinking of this hole that can never be filled like a black hole in the universe, sucking everyone and everything in and crushing it. She is sort of like a star that blow up, when she enacted the curse. Think back at the scene in the babyroom. The ceiling was painted like a nightskye with moon and stars and when the curse came it sucked out a hole in the roof and ceiling, pretty much proves my point I think ๐
So in a way I think love is the most powerfull magic, because it can both crush you if you’r held captive by it and it can set you free, if you give it away willingly without asking it back. Like when a star shines and gives ist light to the world witout getting any of it back.
So again. Yes ! Reginas choice in letting Henry go home with David, was an act of real love.

ParticipantI think what shows that she loves Henry is that she lets him go, she realizes she can’t love him by keeping him captive.
That’s ultimatly what makes her kill her father, because he couldn’t let her go. The last thing he says to her is something like “We can be happy together” and that’s what makes her choose to kill him.๐ฎ good thing we don’t all choose this option when our parants becomes a bit possessive. ๐

To me, nothing would go back to how it was the moment Henry knocked on her door. Soon as they were introduced, there was no turning back to a world where Emma doesn’t exist in Henry’s life. Even if all Emma ever did was say “Go home kid” and shut the door on him… he would still have met his birth mother. And she would have seen her son. And it’s easier to say walk away from that than to actually do so.
I agree!
I like the conversations she and Snow has about her being the savior a hero to Henry and that, that is a wall she is building up. She wants him to see her that way because she donโt know how to be anything else to him, and he already has a mother so she donโt know how to be that to him, she really isnโt butting in on that department.
But she have to put this โbadgeโ on herself as the โheroโ or this wall, and that is keeping her from getting too close to Henry, because it scares her probably. Throughout the first season we saw her start out completely at arms length, calling him that kid to saying she loves him.
The ‘hero wall’ is a deffence thing that she’s had since childhood I think, she had to take care of herself, and she couldn’t find her own lost loved ones so she became a private detective(or what ever the title is) and helped others find the people that they lost.
Very nice and beautifull story I think. -
