Yes but someones choices can be predetermined. If you believe in determinism thats a fact for all of us.
But for the story in OUaT; Someone still writes the fairytales or tells the story and then it is that person- The narrator of the story, who chooses the characters choice for them. See my point? maybe I’m a bit lousy at explaining it 😕

I know I know!! But if they plan ahead for many future seasons that still impacts the way they will write the current season and trying to make the plot last as long as possible will water the story out.

To the ‘should they want to stay in Storybrook or go back to Fairytaleland’ comments.

I was thinking they might in the end want to stay in our world and not go back. Because in fairytaleland someone else writes your story and desides if your an Evil Queen type or a Lucky Princess type. And in our world you can deside yourself, for the most part hopefully.
Then the idea of the show is Kitsis and Horrorwitz’s attempt to free the inslaved story book characters-
That is so nice of them 😀 😀

Think of the scene where Evil Queen asks the witches and trolls and what not, to give a piece of hair so she can cook up the curse. That old blind witch asks “And we will be happy??” I felt sorry for those dudes, in fairytaleland a happy ending for a witch is an impossible thing.

But they are going for as many years as possible, probably.

Wow nice ! thanks for posting these..

I cant help feel a little deflated though, by them wanting to make this a TEN YEAR RUN !! Dang those american show people! I say if they had written this to be a 3 season show maybe 4 tops. They could have made a masterpiece. Ten years nope, sorry! they can make a very awsome show sure, if they keep it up the way it is now, but they wont break any ‘soundwalls’. If you get my point.

But another thing. So Emma still does owe him that favor ! really cant wait to see how he chooses to collect.

Am I the only one hoping that Baelfire will still be a boy and come flying out of the skye in best Peter Pan style ?
I know more stuff fits the ‘Henrys father’n all’ theory. But- one can have hope.

What I mean with this is that, at least as far as I’m concerned, being fond of children is something that fits into the character. Of course if he can take advantage from the deal with Henry -and, probably any other child-, he is going to do so. But if not…well, it could change depending on the mood. And, of course, this doesn’t mean lack of consequences: just that the consequences are not due to the wizard’s intention

Because after all, as Gigi says, Rumplestiltskin is not an evil character: he is just amoral, neutral one.

I don’t know, maybe I wrote everything a bit messy, but i hope you can get my point. 😳

Well hmmm! I get you feel it fits the character from those fairytales you speak about. And it may be so. Guess we will just have to wait and see if there is or isnt an ulterior motive to his kindness towards him.

Gigi, I never said I think Rumple is truly and only evil. It would be hard to state that really, because of all the backstory we have seen. Im only saying I find THIS scene with him giving Henry the necklace to be a bit suspecious.
