Well they were portal jumpers, so even if she came from the Asian world we see in Jefferson’s doors she could be totally familiar with them. I really wish we could get to know Mulan more.

I have to go with Skin Deep on this one. I loved the flashbacks of Tallahassee, they were beyooooooond fantastic… but the fairytale present fell mostly flat for me. I think Jorge Garcia was overhyped, unfortunately. He wasn’t given much to do in the episode and the CGI made all the Giant scenes as laughable as the opening scene from 1×06 – The Shepherd. Skin Deep, while not my favourite episode, was pretty definitive of Once Upon a Time for me. The flashback was given great focus, but the main storyline was interesting and heart-wrenching all on it’s own, and the twist at the end is one of my favourites in the series. If I look at it scene-per-scene Skin Deep will still win: The Queen/Rumpel scene at the end where he confirms he knows who he is? Amazing; The scene where he beats Moe with the cane? Amazing… Tallahassee is awesome, but Skin Deep reigns.

It also just occurred to me. Are we ever going to find out what happened to Midas?

I’m doing the OUAT 30 day challenge, but doing it with gif-sets, yayyyy… So here’s day one:
Allow me to correct myself, he took the money for himself but rationalized it with the thought that if Emma had the money, she would keep Henry – which isn’t in The Blue Fairy’s plan.
I don’t think she represents good, she herself doesn’t believe that. She believes she represents “right”, which to me… Leans more towards her representing Destiny or Fate. Which makes August having her as a contact at this point in his life make total sense. She is pushing him to ensure that everything goes according to The Plan. She can’t leave Storybrooke and can’t push what has been written in the stars onto Emma herself, but luckily she has a literal puppet to do it for her.
