i think Baelfire was turned into ageless object or animal until he came in contact with Emma. i prefer a frog but anything will do.
What if it was the reverse? Emma finds out she’s pregnant and – poof- Bae is turned into a frog. She can’t find him so it looks like he has run off.
Since Mr Gold/Rump poured the potion into the well, the water touches many lands (can’t remember exact words) maybe the water will come in contact with Bae in some form- human or ???. Maybe this will draw Bae back to SB or send a signal to Mr Gold so he can go to Bae’s location.[adrotate group="5"]merryleeplayingParticipantI have wondered this, too and just thought I missed something since I did not see the very beginning of the pilot.
I think there are more people/beings/creatures we haven’t been introduced to. Everything can’t be revealed in one season if the show is going to last 5+ seasons.
Possibilities: 1) BF had her own protection from the curse and could come and go from SB. 2) The BF might have notified other magical beings in other realms before the curse. After the curse their realm ended up outside of SB town.(How else did Grace/Paige win a regional spelling bee???) So that Emma had a “fairy god mother” of sorts in the real word who might not have had magical powers but could travel and keep track of her. Then reports back to BF on Emma’s status. “They” could have brought Henry to SB on BF direction.
Perhaps the reason Emma remained outside of SB was to be able to grow up unnoticed by the EQ.My follow up question would be was Emma having Henry just a coincidence or dystiny?

…Let’s not forget that this true love potion that was tossed into the well is from SW/PC’s true love..so I’m thinking one of the things that will tie into this new world is the “product of the magic”/Emma finding her true love..or accepting true love. That may become one of the major themes..
A couple of thoughts. What if the true love potion also contains hair from Rump & Bae. So true love as the driving force that kept bringing SW/PC together will also act as a catalyst and bring Bae back to Rum. When Mr Gold dropped the potion in the well, he said the water connects all the land together (or something to that effect). So the potion in the water will trigger Bae & Rum to seek each other out. Maybe it will be more of a marker for Mr Gold to be able to locate and identify Bae.

T…. In episode 16, we heard him say that whoever can bottle true love can do anything. … . The magic created from true love is the most powerful of all. …
I mentioned in another post that true love causes each person to support the other one. The addage “nothing is impossiible/everything is possible”. II think this can also translate into courage. So maybe Mr Gold is hoping that “magic is power” also provides courage.

True love also created revolutions: “Let’s take back the kingdoms.”
Good point! The feeling that nothing is impossible/everything is possible because there is someone by your side who supports you. hmmm also meaning it gives courage?….
merryleeplayingParticipanti still think Bae is Henry’s father and i agree that there will be another love interest for Emma. So that when Bae does arrive in SB Emma will be involved with someone else. = more akward moments.
I’ve also be toying with the notion that instead of Bae being married/engaged, maybe Bae was going into the priesthood. He was still in the “priest-in-training” phase. Maybe Bae felt he needed to atone for his father.
Another notion of mine is that Bae was getting ready to depart for an overseas Peace Corps assignment. Maybe Emma didn’t want to hold him back from his dream by telling him he was a father.merryleeplayingParticipant@AntBee wrote:
Will the old leaders try to have kingdoms like in the Enchanted Forest and Storybrooke will slowly start to resemble the Enchanted Forest with castles springing up everywhere? Or will things just stay the status quo because it’s much easier and cheaper for the show than having to give the whole town a makeover?
I think the town will still look the same. Probably because it would be cheaper to keep it that way. I suppose “they” could do a mixture. Outside looks like current day but the inside could be FTL because of magic. But there could be continuity problems with that. It would be funny to see if they could pull that off. Characters going through a doorway. One side is current day style & clothing & conveniences. Then POOF inside is FTL clothing & furnishings. Of course does that mean the inside of a garage for cars becomes the stable for horses? Talk about horsepower under the hood. hmmm … wonder if keys are needed when exiting the stable on a horse to be able to turn the car off when parking?…. 😆

Yeah if everyone is still stuck in town. Then maybe Emma will search for Bae outside of town if she can still go. Though the show may just lead there.
I agree. I mentioned this on another post. I think Emma will leave town to go find Bae. Now how she leaves is another matter. Will she leave the normal way – on a road trip? Or will she have access to magic (or Jefferson’s hat) that will teleport her to another location in either this world or other realms? Maybe she’ll get sucked (or suckered) into an infinite loop that takes her from one location to another until she finds Bae.
merryleeplayingParticipantThe Ex-Jailbird headlines mentions a ” a cassoule diary” above it. I looked it up according to wiki “…a rich, slow-cooked casserole originating in the south of France, containing meat (typically pork sausages, goose, duck and sometimes mutton), pork skin (couennes) and white haricot beans”. Another reference to beans.
merryleeplayingParticipantForgot to add Phoenix, Arizona. Wiki says a phoenix is “….bird with a colorful plumage and a tail of gold and scarlet …”
