It seems like Mr. Gold wants to get out of SB in order to find Bae. So I was thinking that maybe he could hire Emma in the future in order to find him (because finding missing people is her job). I mean, how is he going to look for Bae in such a huge world!? Maybe Emma’s ability to find people is like her power as a “lying detector” so that could definitely come in handy to help Mr. Gold.
I agree. I had said same thing in another post. Emma used to find people in her old job. So to me it makes sense that Mr Gold would “hire” her to help find Bae.

1) We know the love portion has a hair from SW & PC. What if it also had a hair from Rumple & Bae? By dropping it in the well (to return what was lost) might yield a clue for Rumple to locate where Bae is.
2) On a comical note. What if the well brought back his wife. And there he’d be with wife & Belle drama. Would he still have to file for divorce? 😉merryleeplayingParticipant@malchore wrote:
Another goof is the byline that reads “Storybrooke Elementary Girl is Crowned New Champion at Regional Spelling Bee.” Okay, well people from Storybrooke can’t leave town. And strangers never come into town. So….where did this “regional” spelling bee take place? ❓
I posted this same thing question elsewhere. To summarize. Knowing folks can’t leave Storybrooke, I wonder if SB is the town name and also the county’s name. The county could include the other fairy tale lands or realms. Because why use the word regional instead of just the school name for the spelling bee?
I’m also curious about the Harestock bridge story that’s mentioned in the paper.
merryleeplayingParticipantWell, if it turns out that that Henry’s father is Bae, then maybe the tables got turned on Bae. Whatever happened, he started to go to jail with her but the opportunity to leave came up and he took it. Maybe he is feeling the same pain Rumple felt and regretted not going with her.

However, several characters have mentioned wanting to leave SB and go to Boston…but that’s the only place they want to go. SB is in Maine, so why not Augusta? Or any other New England city? Or even Nova Scotia?
…. Could there be ‘sister towns’ to SB, involving Anderson tales, Agrabah, Wonderland, etc?
.I, too, have wondered about the mention of only Boston and not other cities, including Canadian ones. Because of that I think there may be some significance to Boston other than the food “Boston baked BEANS”. Maybe Bae owns a canning factory there. 😆
I also agree with the sister town theory. One of the newspapers had a story of a SB girl winning the Regional Spelling Bee. If SB is a small town, why would there be a ‘regional’ spelling bee held and not just stop the contest at a school spelling bee. The other realms could have been transformed into other small towns that the residents of SB can still visit.
Another thought is SB is the name of the town AND the name of the county 💡 . So when saying people cannot SB, we think it is just means the town but maybe it really means not leaving the “county”. (or maybe it’s just unicorporated SB 😛 )merryleeplayingParticipantI would guess that there may be some significance to the other stories listed on the page. The main headliner draws one’s attention to that story but there are other side stories that may offer hints.
For instance:
– the “Welcome Home, John Doe” headline also has a story on “Remnants of Seventeenth Century Colonial Settlement Uncovered at Harestock Bridge”. Above page is “Comet Marley Makes Debut Appearance”. On the back page is a partial US weather map with red dots. Can’t tell if the red dots signify normal cities or something else. Plus part of the map is shaded.
– the “Ex-Jailbird Emma Swan Birthed Babe Behind Bars”. The picture was cropped to only show 6in vs 5’6” on other picture. Has story on “Pumpkin week… seasonal family treat..”. Above that is another partial “A Cassou??…. Diary” I can’t read it.
– “7 Year Old Boy Finds Baby on Side of Road” Trying to read reporter’s name … “M.SOPARLO” ??
– “HEARTLESS!”. Other story is “Storybrooke Elementary Girl is Crowned New Champion at Regional Spelling Bee”. Is that Grace/Paige? How big “regional”? Can’t read caption under picture. Hmm ..interesting choice of words ‘crowned’. Maybe I’m reading too much into that word.
– the newspaper MM is holding. The back looks different than the other one. Maybe it’s just the whole page showing. Two other articles on weather page. One is the charity event and I can’t read the one on the left.merryleeplayingParticipant@charming wrote:
They will call her Princess Emma next season or at someone will. Henry will call her mom. She’ll have a hard time calling Snow and Charming, Mom and Dad but eventually it will happen. In fact I think after she leaves the hospital she’ll look for them first or they will look for Emma.
Yes, as “new” parents I would expect them to track down Emma to see her. They’ll probably joke about which feature she got from which relative. Then they ask about what happened to her, what she remembers after arriving. Where she grew up? etc. Now realizing they are parents of an adult and grandparents they ask the big question “sooooo… who is Henry’s father? How did you meet him? Where is he now? “
Can’t wait……..merryleeplayingParticipantWill Rumple find Baelfire with magic??
Wouldn’t it be shocking after all of that he finds Bae without using any magic at all. Would that not be the ultimate irony that he did not needmagic to find him.
ooooo I like that idea. Maybe went all is said and done he’s actually living in Boston (Since it’s mentioned a lot.) Maybe he is a law professor (since that is where Abigail/Kathyrn was headed) specializing in ????? land, property, acquistions. Something to protect the rights of others.
merryleeplayingParticipantRef: QoH is Cora’s first born. I wonder when the deal was done– as an infant or maybe it was an arranged marriage, like Regina’s? And where is father Henry in all this ‘wheeling and dealing’ of his children?
merryleeplayingParticipantQoH is Cora’s first born does make sense to me. Great theory!
Rumpel tell’s Cora something like “…she’ll be treated like royality … even have her own kingdom…”. But the ‘magic comes with a price’ aspect is when the daughter becomes the keeper of hearts because her mother (Cora) was heartless in giving her up to gain more magic/power.Maybe the father Henry was there visiting his oldest daughter and got stuck. But why couldn’t he leave?… hmmm
