Welcome here. Hope you enjoy it with us crazy people. 😉
Hm, it does looks tree shaped. Oh, so the spots would be the air between the branches? Seriously, though, why stars to make it night? o.ô And mountains … The tree where Regina and Daniel met maybe. Thanks for the screens, Heather!
Oh, I agree. The problem is that that fog did look much like the curse and even though Rumple said it’s magic, we just don’t know the ramifications of the mist.

I have a stress ball in the shape of a heart! Squeeze!!!! Bye Daniel, bye Graham, good-bye daddy. Lol.
Ah! So, that’s why she rips out their hearts, lol!
I always always associate Emma with the same-named Jane Austen book and with the “Tante-Emma-Laden”. Latter is a German name for general store, transalted: Aunt Emma Shop. It has all sorts of things, sometimes old stuff that nobody really wants anymore (sort of like antiquities, but not that valuable).
I’ve also never met anyone named Emma or at least can’t remember right now. There are loads of books and films with a heroine named Emma, though. Never understood why …
What agreat introduction! Welcome to the forums! Good that I just watched Peter Pan the other day or I wouldn’t have understood the nickname, lol. Looking forward to reading from you.
We don’t know if they’ll still remember in season 2 … For all we know the curse could just be back on.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he has generated an alternative source of magic that is derived from true love rather than from fairy dust. In episode 14, we saw that fairy dust made from crushed diamonds is what powers magic in FTL. In episode 16, however, we heard Mr. Gold say that if you can bottle true love, the greatest magic of all, you can do anything.
Interesting thoughts. So the magic in FTL is mostly based on the fairy dust. Using the bottled love Rumple’s made it so that the magic in SB will be based on true love. That would make it even more powerful.
Oh gods, I just realise why I would love that! It would prove my thought (way back when that bottled love episode came) that Rumple wanted the bottled love to get an even greater power!! Haha, that’d be cool, but back to business.
It does seem a bit weird him bringing back magic. If the waters of the well could bring back things lost, that would mean there had been magic in SB before, right? And I don’t mean the little bits that Regina had, but real, strong, powerful magic. Wouldn’t that suggest that our world did have magic and that maybe FTL is the past and not just another world? This is so complicated …
Haha, yes, that, too!
