ParticipantHaha, yes! Wow, from the US it would be a bit far.
The Little Match Girl … I must admit I always hated the story, lol. It’s soooo sad! It’s beautiful in a way, but so sad. 🙁 Maybe I didn’t like it at the time, because it shattered my notion that fairy tales always ended in a good way. I was in fourth or fifth grade and didn’t remember the fairy tales (originals) my parents had read to me as I was little …

ParticipantI understand, Snowrose! Maybe it’s also because I’m not from the US. I do love the Disney versions, but I’m a huge fan of the original stories. What I find funny about the true Snow White story, is that not only is there no true love’s kiss, as you say, but no kiss at all. It’s such an “unmagical” story somehow. It serves the moral of the story, but there’s no magic really.
I do think most people know the original stories are different from the Disney version. I like the mix, though. There aren’t that many Disney fairy tale films anyway.
It’ll be interesting how they do The Little Mermaid, though. That one is truly different from the Disney version …mia
ParticipantOf course! Shame on those who don’t stay ’til the end of the credits!
Do you know that red headed guy? He seemed familiar to me, but I've just got no clue from where and why and who he could be. lolmia
ParticipantHeya and officially welcome here then!
I’ve been wanting to go to Efterling for ages now, but never had the chance. Maybe I’ll get some friends to go with me sometime this year.
Two questions:
What’s your favourite fairy tale? Which is your favourite ride in the park? 🙂mia
ParticipantYou know, for some reason even the thought of the Evil Queen standing in the kitchen and making lasagne seems funny. “Uh oh, I think some of my very alcoholic apple cider fell into it. Ah, whatever, that’ll make him more open to my advances.”

MM’s voice is starting to sound more Snow-like.
Yes, I had the same impression. Before it was much, well, gentler. Innocent and similar to the Snow meeting Red for the first time, yet not exactly the same. Since the whole Kathryn incident, it’s become an edge to it.

ParticipantMaybe it’s also because she’s sparkling in your picture?

ParticipantYup, that’s right.
In the original story there’s no old woman and the roses are in the beast’s garden.mia
ParticipantWell, that’s a nice birthday present!

ParticipantYes, cruel_fortuna! Those parts are hilarious! I really enjoyed Hulk appearing besides Thor and punching him. The room roared!
My favourite Tony line: “Hang on, Legolas!” I had a hard time trying to calm down. -
