King George has a second name! This would mean Snow&Charming didn’t kill him. Did they somehow chase him away from the castle? We are certain that the castle Snow&Charming lived in is King George’s, right? It couldn’t have been King Leopold’s summer castle?

I had the same thought. It’s just so strange that they would explicitly show the wells if there wasn’t a meaning for it. Also, it could be an explanation why August thinks so highly of water. Or maybe it’s just recurring object (I’m trying to remember the exact expression for those type of objects, like the grandfather clock in Charmed … *blackout* 🙁 ).

After re-watched the episode I observed a headlight in the left corner coming up the road to Jeff’s house. It could be August driving up. Maybe he brought MM back. 🙂
I also wondered about the vault of hearts. It looks exactly like the one in SB! Are they just re-using props, did Regina built the one in her castle based on the one in Wonderland or is it the same? If it’s the same, how did she get it? Or maybe there’s a vault like that in every world?
My first thought was that the Queen of Hearts was Regina’s mother, too. But the actresses are different … The QoH is played by Jennifer Koening (What's with American actresses being called Jennifer, really???) and Cora by Barbara Hershey.
Maybe the QoH gave Regina some power and that’s why she had Henry Sr. as leverage.
The telescopes in “Hat Trick” are a nod to Through the Looking Glass, right? As is, of course, the tea party little Grace is having in FTL. 🙂
