I think it’s about the EQ. It would be too much of a link to the hearts she collects! It doesn’t have to be the EQ’s heart that is meant, but maybe of someone who’s responsible for her becoming like this (and I don’t mean Snow xD)
I don't know if it's in this episode or in 18/19 or something but they have an episode about Regina where her mother appears. http://www.tvline.com/2012/01/once-upon-a-time-barbara-hershey-evil-queen-mother/ I think it may well be about how her influence turned the EQ the way she is.
[adrotate group="5"]miaParticipantI LOVE the Prince Thomas theory (I do see the memory problem)! Is it the same well? I actually thought the well in the RW is at the same place as the FTL lake.
I did so not see that vase … The tree theory is great, but I hope that if it connects it’s NEVER called Yggdrasil in the show. I just hate when they mix different mythologies (we already have Kind Midas and probably the Golden Fleece.).
Loved the fact you put so much research into your theories! 😀
miaParticipantAnd Regina will probably be blamed again. Emma’s become too suspicious of her. 😉
@IndyandMarion: I’ve been using the short RW for “our world”, short for “real world”. I know both worlds are real, but just to make a distinction. I don’t like OW, ’cause it reminds me of the gamer’s short for overweight. xDmiaParticipantCan you only kill the Dark One saying his name and then killing him? He’s immortal alright, but if you shot Mr. Gold, wouldn’t he die?
miaParticipantExactly my thoughts!
Do you know the graphic novel Sandman by Neil Gaiman? There’s a similar situation. One of the characters is called Delirium, but before she was that, she was Delight. Something awful happened to her to change to Delirium.
I agree with hjbau that that’s what it means. Would be disappointing if otherwise, I think. :3miaParticipantI totally agree, the original fairy tales are really violent! I mean, in the Brothers Grimm version of Cinderella (no idea if it has another name in English, in German it’s called Aschenputtel, more or less meaning ash girl) the stepsister cut of their calves and toes so they can fit in the shoe! In Snow White the Mother has to dance in hot iron shoes until she drops dead! That’s really dark.
Still, my parents read me the stories as a little girl (I must have been REALLY young, because I don’t remember at all). I remember one of my kindergarten teachers reading some fairy tales to us.
I always liked the stories and only now do I realise how macabre some of them are. Then again it’s like that with many children’s books. Think of Harry Potter.
Here’s a pic of my Grimm story book. It was my father’s as a little boy.
miaParticipantAh, yes, the snake box! Totally forgot that.
can’t wait to see what the others open. *_*miaParticipantWow, never thought someone would come up with the crazy letter thought!! I had the same idea, but didn’t write it down, because it would imply that Regina&Gold have their magic powers. And I’m not so sure they do.
Still, I do like the idea.
Maybe instead of sending her to FTL, she sent her to one of the rooms beside Belle’s. I don’t think, Regina would have sent anyone back to FTL, even if she could. Kathryn would probably remember everything?P.S.: Why am I not this creative with my uni work? 😕
miaParticipantNo, I don’t get it. xD Sorry.
You mean (in this example) that Kind Midas’ heart would be more valuable than Cinderella’s? And the really important ones have keys?
There weren’t any keyholes in that vault with the hearts. At least not as far as I can remember.miaParticipantEmma: “I’m not your mother.”
Mary Margaret: “I’m yours according to Henry.”😀 Made my breakfast.
Just remember another:
Prince James/Charming: “True love isn’t easy, but it must be fought for, because once you find it … it can never be replaced.”
Do you hear that David?!?!?!?!?!
