I don’t think it has anything to do with magic. There are some people who are really good at sensing if others are lying or not. Seeing as Emma always did this, I don’t remember what it was called, bail-something job and has been searching for her parents, thus acquirering all these detective skills, I think she’s just very perceptive. But I don’t think she can always tell when someone’s lying, since she doesn’t seem to have picked up, that Sidney isn’t on her side (I guess we'll see something about that in the next episode.).
[adrotate group="5"]miaParticipant1st theory: She vanished into thin air, because she tried to leave Storybrooke. Bit far fetched, as none of the others who tried to leave vanished. There was just something pretending them not to leave.
2nd theory: She needed some air after she had the, well it wasn’t a crash (nothing seemed broken), whatever it was that stopped her, and she passed out or fell … If that is the case, I think the “real world” Frederick (Does he have a name yet?) went looking for her, found her and took her home.
3rd theory: She got out of the car (who wouldn’t do that after such a shock) and was taken by Sidney (or someone else. Don’t know, if he’d ever be up to that.) by orders of Regina. Kathryn is now held prisoner somewhere. The wooden hut? down in the hospital with Belle? Has Regina maybe taken her Heart now (Does she still have that power in the RW? We haven’t seen her [or Gold for that matter] do anything magical [except crushing Grahams Heart to dust].)?
P.S.: Sorry for all the parenthesis’. xD
February 20, 2012 at 7:05 am in reply to: Was the book damaged when they tore down the castle? #137413miaParticipantI wrote that in the other post with the initial reactions.
He just did a new binding, hough leaving the old cover so Henry and Emma wouldn’t get suspicious (I study publishing, so I learned how to do that 😉 ). Don’t know if he made a copy for himself while doing it, but I don’t think so. I think he somehow is the caretaker of the book, making sure it is conserved.
August may have an agenda thogh. We still don’t know who he is in FTL.
miaParticipantIt’s really simple what August did with the book. It’s very old, so he did a new binding, though leaving the old cover (so no one would notice it too much).
What I don’t know is, if he may have made a copy for himself, but I don’t believe that. I think he’s somehow the caretaker of the book, making sure it doesn’t fade.Oh, and I don’t remember who said it (it may have been in the last podcast or some forum), but someone mentioned the name August was strange? It is a Latin name meaning the dignified.
I liked the episode (beside the MM/David part of course), even though it seemed a tiny bit boring after the great ep last week.
I really liked how Abigail bumps into Frederick in the “real world” and just brushes it off and then it’s him finding her car …
My personal fave was the last scene with Emma and MM. How she just lay down to keep her company. It was just cute.Only thing that was sad, was that Mr. Gold didn’t appear at all. Is he still in prison? Probably not.
K, going to listen to the first reaction podcast now. 😀
miaParticipantHello and welcome to the forum. Interesting what majors there are. 🙂
miaParticipantHm. Do we know how much time has passed between Snow running away from the castle, after the EQ sent the Huntsman after her, and the wedding? (Sry for the long convoluted sentence. )
miaParticipant😕
Back to the question where MM got the fairy tale book. I’ve been asking myself the same question. Where did she get it?
At first I thought the Stranger may have written it. He’s so interested in it and the book is now in his posession. Could he have written it down? Maybe we’ll get some answers tonight …Another thing that I find strange is the age of the different characters.
Cinderella/Ashley still is 19 (she says so herself in the 4th episode), but I always thought Snow White was about 20 when she and James got married and now in the “real world” she is about the same age as Emma. She aged, but Ella/Ashley didn’t?? Or was she in her late 20 when she got married? And then there’s the whole Henry part. He came to Storybrooke as a baby, so 10 years must have passed, and yet no one has aged(ok, the time stood still, but they should have at least celebrated the birthdays, in which case Ashley/Ella couldn’t be 19 now …)?
Is it really this confusing or am I just missing something obvious?
Help please! 😀miaParticipantHeya,
yay, someone from the north! 😀 Welcome here!
miaParticipantNope, but I have a PSP. Currently playing FF IV – Interlude and The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky.
@DanielJLewis: Cut the Rope and Where’s my Water? are such great games! I love those puzzles. There’s a similar game as Angry Birds (but much harder), Siege Heroes, but I don’t know if they have it for Android (I’ve got an iPhone). If they have, you should get it, it’s really good and challenging!miaParticipantOh please no. That would be so weird, seeing as Snow and him had a one-nighter.
Though it could be an easter egg to the comic books Fables (Snow White and Bigby a.k.a. the Big Bad Wolf are married there)!
Then again, it coud be fun. Though, if it were the case, wouldn’t they have made him and Ruby have some kind of interaction before? She appear a few times, but she never interacted with Dr. Whale, did she? -
