Our loved ones help us be bigger and better than we would be or could be on our own. That’s a form of Magic in-and-of itself. πŸ˜€

Of course, sometimes that can have the opposite effect, too. where our supposed loved ones can drag us down and bring out the worst in us — like Regina and her mother.

That’s also true. Lucky for Rumpel, his loved ones have been the ones trying to steer him in the right direction. πŸ˜‰

I have a feeling that all hell will break lose. There won’t be an actual Fairytale land to go back to. So, Storybrooke will either be destroyed and scores of innocent people will be slaughtered, or they will all be transported to another land. Or maybe they’ll be stuck in some kind of chaotic limbo.

I read about this spoiler. I was giggling like a schoolgirl when I saw it! πŸ˜† I think it’s Jefferson. I have a theory on how Jefferson and Belle are connected but no one ever believes me. πŸ˜†

LOL! πŸ˜† I have that problem sometimes too. I’ve missed entire chunks of dialogue because I was too busy fangirling over something Rumpel or Regina did. I’m shallow like that. πŸ˜†

I’m calling that Mother Superior knows where Bae is and will tell Gold when she’s convinced he’s changed.

Ooo! I like this theory! I’d like to add onto it a little bit.

I’m calling that the Blue Fairy actually been looking after Baelfire the whole time during his stay in our world. In Fairytale land, she was a fairy God mother, so in this world ,she’s acting as an actual mother to Baelfire.

It is not for certain whether she will return in FTL or SB or both. Bae returned only in FTL. August as of yet is seen only in SB. There is a possibility of a FTL appearence of Belle.

Didn’t Robert Carlyle say in an interview that we would probably see “Gold and Belle” rather than “Rumpel and Belle”?

Belle is alive in Storybrooke whereas Baelfire as far as we know isn’t.

I have the strangest feeling that Baelfire has been in contact with Belle. No evidence, just a feeling.

I’ve seen this mentioned before somewhere here, that Mr. Gold/Rumple is reminicient of Severus Snape from Harry Potter. Throughout the entire series, until his final moments in the last book, you never knew what side he was really on. It was the most interesting and perplexing thing about the series. His loyalty to Lily’s memory was behind everything he did, similar to Rumple’s situation regarding Bae (and to an extent Belle). Will we ever truly know what side Rumple is really on? The big difference between the two characters for me, though, is that I was never a fangirl of Snape. Being a teacher, I despised the way he treated his students. No matter what side he was on, I could never forgive him for this. However, I have no problem trying to rationalize away squashing poor cart drivers and killing mute maids. πŸ˜•

Another note, I was rewatching part of “Heart of Darkness” and caught myself unexpectly giggling everytime Rumple giggled…something I really don’t do the first time watching probably because I’m so into the show on the first time around. This got me thinking that I really wouldn’t like this character if any other actor would have played him. Robert Carlyle is just fantastic. I was actually really surprised when I realized that he was the lead in one of my all time favorite movies The Full Monty. He’d best get nominated come Emmy time.

I agree with the Severus Snape comparison. Severus started out as kind of weak and pathetic. A lot like how Rumpel started out. But then he found power and decided to join the Death Eaters. Just like how Rumpel found the power of the Dark One. But after the death of Lily Evans, Severus swore to protect the last living memory of her. Her son, Harry. Rumpel did this to a certain extent with him vowing to find his son and rescue him.

Severus’s loyalties and true intentions were always unclear. And even though he was eventually revealed to be on the good side, he was still pretty frightening to the school children. His main reason for siding with the good guys is because he promised to protcet Lily’s son at all costs. His love for her outweighed anything and everything. The same goes for Rumpel. He’ll eventually find himself on the side of good, but not because he is good, but because his love for Baelfire and Belle will bring him over to the side of good.

I agree with everything you said. In the end, Mr. Gold’s love for Baelfire and Belle will indirectly bring him over to the good side. And I know that sounds kind of selfish and self-serving (ok, it is), but most of the time, it takes the love of a spouse or family member to bring people over the side of good and righteousness. Sometimes only our loved ones can provide us with the proper motivation to do what’s right. It takes love to open someone’s eyes to the truth.

Maybe the E people just saw the promo and made up the rest.

To be honest, that’s exactly what I think. I think these spoilers are just pure sensationalism. But if they’re not, then it’s probably going to be August or Sydney. Emma, Snow, Charming, Rumpel, Regina and Henry are the main core of the show. If you remove any of them from the storyline, it all falls apart.

Yes, he did. Belle will be more prominent in Storybrooke rather than Fairytale during the finale. πŸ˜‰
