Anyone notice how Rumpel’s voice changes the more evil he becomes. He had his normal voice in desperate souls then in the return when he said “even mutes can draw a picture” it went into the voice that Rumpel had from the beginning of the series. When Belle kissed him, it briefly went back to his normal voice and generally when he was around Belle his voice wasn’t as sing songy as it was normally. Anyone agree? Could the loss of both Bae and Belle have pushed Rumpel over the edge?
Yes, I noticed that too. The more the power of the Dark One begins to take hold, the higher his voice becomes. Even Zoso (after Rumpel stabbed him) had a high-pitched voice. He giggled in a similar manner as Rumpel does.

Where did you hear this?
A recent E! News spoiler:
GirlTalkTo: Any news on Belle and Gold on OUAT?
How is this for a tease? Belle, or her Storybrooke counterpart to be more precise, will share an important scene with another fan-favorite guest star. Speculate away! Most people are saying it's probably Jefferson. He's supposed to be returning for episodes 21 and 22 anyway. 😉

ParticipantAlright, here’s my crackpot theory.
I think Jefferson is Rumpel’s son. The Blue Fairy said that she was going to send Bae to a world without magic, but a lot of people think she either lied or made a mistake and accidentaly sent him to either Oz, Neverland or Wonderland. Once the curse took effect, he was sucked out of Wonderland and placed in Storybrooke. Finding Baelfire is the curse’s main objective, so maybe the curse sucked Jefferson out of Wonderland and placed him Storybrooke. This may explain why he wasn’t able to leave the house for 28 years. Not because the Evil Queen was trying to punish him, but because the curse wanted to keep him in a safe and confined place so that it would be easy for Mr. Gold to find him. Besides, why would the Evil Queen choose to transport only one person from wonderland? Why him? Regina had a lot more important things on her mind to worry about other than some dude she left behind.
Jefferson’s magic hat may also be a clue too. The hat is able to transport someone to 16 different worlds. It’s a realm jumper. This is exactly what Rumpel needed to find his son. Maybe Jefferson created the hat so that he could find his father before the curse took effect.
There are also a lot of similarites between Rumpel and Jefferson. Rumpel became the Dark One so that he could save his son and give him a better life. Jefferson decided to work for Regina so that he could provide a better life for his daughter. However, in the process of trying to save their children, both ended up losing them in the end. And after they lost their children, they both went insane.
I also think Jefferson wants to rescue Belle so that he can reunite her with Mr. Gold, and accomplish what he was never able to back in Fairytale land. Break his father's curse. Jefferson is rumored to be sharing a scene with Belle in the season finale, so this may be his main goal.

ParticipantWelcome to the forums! I love Regina too. That woman is flawless. 😀

ParticipantGuys, please don’t take these spoilers too seriously. E! News is notorious for their crappy spoilers. They could have easily been talking about Regina’s nightmare sequence or Snow White eating the apple. E! News always turns nothing into something. Trust me guys, they’re just screwing us. I can’t tell you many times after reading spoilers from E! that I’ve thought someone important on another show was going to die, but then it turns out it’s either a dream or some no name extra.
So yeah, they’re probably just taking a scene that we already know about (Snow eating the apple or Regina’s dream sequence) and turning it into mass hysteria.
E! News, I see through your lies. :ugeek:

I really like him being the tin man. If i could pick today who he was then i pick the tin man though my mind goes through a bunch of possibilities all the time. They also showed an illustration from the wizard of oz in the pilot of Dorthy, the tin man, the scarecrow, and the flying monkeys.
Exactly! I’m hoping those clues actually have some importance to them. But next week's episode title and synopsis make me lose hope. But then again, last week's episode was entitled “The Return” and had the image of a motorcycle riding through the woods in the opeining sequence. But did anyone return? No. Was the episode truly about August? No. So, I'm hoping next week's episode title and synopsis are all just red herrings and we'll find out at the end of the episode that he's actually someone else.
Having said that, the new sneak peek with Pinocchio and Monstro actually looked pretty interesting. I'm actually excited to see their story.

I actually think that Gold just wants Emma to believe because then the curse would be at least partially broken and maybe then he could go look for Bae. And maybe that could give him his magic back. It doesn’t seem that he cares about Emma or Henry or even Regina except when he is using them for his own purposes which is to find Bae.
I don’t think it’s because he wants his powers back. We saw in “The Return” that he was willing to give up his powers. And besides, he created the curse so that he would be sent a land without magic. He new his powers would be taken away from him. So, he clearly doesn’t want his powers back. I think he wants the curse lifted so that he can leave Storybrooke and look for his son. The curse won’t allow him to leave Storybrooke.

Another reason why I’m glad Emma won’t be working with Mr. God is because it would be ridiculously out of character for her.
Mr. God? Not to sound blasphemous, but you’d be right about that! 😀
I so didn’t mean to say that, but it’s exactly how I feel. 😆

Although I will say, I like Ruby/Red a lot and wish they could use her more; and until last week’s episode, August ranked very high. I will say the BF went up on my list when she hadn’t even been on the radar; but hands down — Rumpel is my favorite.
Me too! Rumpel fangirl to the bone.

Yes @steliokontos1 I hope Emma wins Henry without magic as well! And @MidnightDreary I agree! Really leaning towards Baelfire being Henry’s father. A really cool thing is that means having Emma and Baelfire as Henry’s parents give Henry the possible ability to become someone very powerful with magic, MAYBE HAVING HENRY BE THE ONE TO RELEASE RUMPLE FROM THE DARK ONE’S POWER? so many possibilities though it could be anyone at this point
GAAAAHHH!!!!! That’s exactly what I was thinking! Don’t ask me why, but I have a feeling when Baelfire landed in our world, he managed to find a way to create magic, and his vessel for creating that magic was Emma. I think Baelfire is probably a really powerful sorcerer, and that gene may have been passed down to Henry. It would explain why Henry was able to see through the curse’s smoke and mirrors. Maybe he has some unknown psychic ability to see through curses or lies. Kind of like Emma (sort of).
