No they are already connected by having Rumple just being in the story. Things are already complex enough. To me this can potentially be a shark jump. I cannot go along with this.
Well, it’s all just opinion and speculation. Besides, you probably don’t have anything to worry about. Most of our theories fail in the end anyway. 😆

I wouldn’t mind if Baelfire has not aged, like if he became Peter Pan or a Lost Boy. Partly because like many of you all, I like the young actor who plays Bae. Also, once Rumple finds Belle, the three of them would make a sweet family. 🙂
Aww, I’d like that too. And the actor has sweetest little baby face. 😀
I also want to see them be one big happy family, but lets be real…these writers are going to torture us until the very end. 🙁

How is Baelfire being Henry’s father going to benefit the whole story?? How is this going to make this show that much greater?? I do not like this idea. not at all….
It would connect of all the characters and make them family. Well…most of the main characters. It’s just sepculation. 🙁

Emma also said that Henry’s father was a fireman. Maybe this a play on Baelfire’s name. The names in Storybrooke always play on the identities of their fairytale counterparts.
Good idea Beauty & the Beast! The writers said in an interview that they take names into great consideration.
Yeah, the name is definitely a clue. The writers also said that we may have already met Henry’s father too. 😮 Big clue.

ParticipantI really like this theory! I am desperate for anything Oz-related to be introduced into the show. The green vortex just looked to Ozian for me to ignore. 😆 I hope this theory is true. It would also be pretty poetic too. Rumpel was a wizard, and now his son (who originally hated magic) is now a wizard. Actually, that’s kind of sad. 🙁

Well, love for a child is something different for sure. It’s unconditional. But if he finds Bae a grown-up man and assuming they reconcile, then their relationship will be bound to change. I mean Bae will have his own life, it won’t be like it used to be they hanging around together everywhere. Rumple might have some problems accepting it at first.
So that’s why there would definitely be room for a woman in his life, someone to share his life with.True. Romantic love and familial love are very different.
I’m anxious to find out if Baelfire even remembers fairytale land. I think it’s pretty safe to say he does. The reason why the residents of Storybrooke don’t remember is because of the curse. So, if Baelfire is outside of the curse, then he should remember. Hmm…. 😕

The fact that the Blue Fairy referred to the vortex as a time portal makes me wonder not only where Bael went, but when?
Me too. There’s been some discussion on the time period that Storybrooke curently resides in. So, with this new development of the time portal, I think we’re on the track of finally learning about time travel in regards to the curse.
In regards to Baelfire, it would be interesting if he was sent to a completely different time period than present-day Storybrooke. He could be 200 years in the future for all we know. 😯 However, I don’t think that’s the case. I think he was sent to our world in a fairly similar time period as the current one. 😉

ParticipantI’m curious to see how Mr. Gold will reconcile his feelings between Baelfire and Belle. They’re the only two people that he ever loved, and most of his actions since the loss of his son have been motivated by them. But it wasn’t necessarily they themselves that moivated him, it was the loss of them. So, I’m anxious to see how he’ll react when he finds out they’re alive.

I don’t know about Emma, but I think the “real world” definitely has magic. Remember how Regina killed the sheriff? She wasn’t anywhere near him and then she took a heart out of a box, and squeezed it until Graham (??? that was the sheriff’s name, right?) passed out and died.
Perhaps when Bae came to the “real world” there wasn’t any magic. However, when Rumple created the curse, in order to keep everyone here and keep everyone from remembering their true selves some magic had to be transferred over in order for it to work. So, now our world has magic even if it didn’t before.
(That’s the only way I can see Bae getting transferred to “our world” and “our world” having magic after he was already here)
That’s actually an interesting point. Mr. Gold said that this world didn’t have magic, but it obviously does. He was able to create magic in this world by bringing the curse into this world.
