I actually don’t think Hook and Mihla will have some sort of epic love story. Both of Hook’s and Mihla’s character descriptions make them sound pretty…what’s the word…”saucy?” 😆 Needless to say, I don’t think they’ll be hopelessly in love. Mihla might be in love with Hook, but I don’t see Hook returning those feelings. I think he’s just looking for a good time.
[adrotate group="5"]The fact that Rumpel is so intimately tied to the Neverland Storyline makes me think that the Peter Pan theory might ultimately turn out to be true. 😉 But the presence of the man in New York is causing me to doubt that theory. But it is definitely possible that he simply grew up.

It’s nice to see pre-Dark One Rumpel again. I also love the possibility of Red and Belle becoming friends. There was a behind the scenes photo released a few days ago with Belle and Red, but they were wearing different clothes. So, they’ll obviously have more scenes together. 😉
And I agree that Mihla probably leaves Rumpel for Hook. The whole “she’s been kidnapped by pirates” storyline will be revealed to be just Mihl chosing to leave Rumpel for a younger man. 🙁
^I don’t think it ever truly existed. It kind of reminds me of how Snow said that Rumpel could see the future. It’s widely believed, but not entirely true.

At first, I thought Beaman, who’s described as a trader of antiques, was going to be Captain Hook’s alias before he became infamous. Yet, since we learned Hook’s alias is Killian Jones, I now think Beaman could be Smee’s alias. We’ve seen images Smee kidnapping Belle outside the SB library (which I think is the meeting of an old acquaintance that could be Belle’s undoing). He might also go by Beaman, who could supply Mr. Gold with antiques and be a go-between Captain Hook and Rumplestiltskin, without Rumpel knowing it. Now that the curse is broken, Smee might recognize Belle from FTL, since I think that Captain Hook might’ve feigned an interest in Belle once, after she left Rumpel in 1×12. We saw her hanging out in a dwarf tavern in 1×14 (which sounds very similar to Milha’s story), where I think Belle met Captain Hook. It’s possible that Hook enticed Belle, who said she wanted to see to the world, to join him on his ship. Hook might’ve known about Belle and Rumpel’s rocky relationship, and so he invited Belle to join his expedition. He eventually handed over Belle to Regina as revenge for his hand being cut off.
Finally, I think that when the Dark Curse was unleashed, all of the different realms of FTL were mixed together so that several Wonderland and Neverland characters wound up in the Enchanted Forest. Perhaps Captain Hook was therefore stuck in the remanent of present-day EF and we’ll see Emma and Snow White meet him (I think he’s the survivor of the Ogre war mentioned in 2×5 synopsis). Captain Hook may even take a romantic interest in a feisty modern-day woman like Emma, since he’s described as a ladies’ man. At first, he’ll seem an antagonist that we all know him as, but I also think that Hook is going to be instrumental in getting them back to SB. In the Disney version of Peter Pan, we saw Hook’s enchanted ship to fly to early 20th-century London. We know that the actor who plays Hook has been promoted to a series regular for the last 9 episodes to S2. So, I think we’ll eventually seen Killian Jones come to SB, and perhaps even see him take on Rumpelstiltksin in the name of revenge for the dark curse.
I think you just outlined the entire episode! 😆 Very good theories, and I think you’re right too. Especially about Rumpel marking Hook with the medalion. That would be an interesting twist on how Hook lost his hand. And I’d be interested to see if Belle ever knew Hook or Smee before she was kidnapped. Maybe Hook did have something to do with it.
I also think August ran off to find Baelfire. Maybe he was supposed to report back to him once the curse was broken. And regards to August’s first character centric episode of season 2, I think it’ll feature his first encounter with Baelfire and the genesis of their relationship.
I also think that Baelfire sent August into Storybrooke to help Emma as a form of repentance. Baelfire, being sensitive to people abandoning their responsibilities, forced or convinced August to finish what he started and help Emma break the curse. But things went a little haywire when August started turning back into wood. So out of desperation, August tried to gain control over Rumpel with his dagger. I don’t think Baelfire will be too pleased with that. Not because he’s sooooooo fond of his father, but because he probably frowns upon anyone who seeks magic or power. But he may also understand August desperation situation and forgive him.
Spoilers say that he’ll be introduced in episode 4 “The Crocodile” via flashbacks with Rumpel. But there’s the possibility that he’ll show up in episode 3 as a cliffhanger. 😉
