^Well, that’s the thing. Maybe Bae isn’t Henry’s father. Maybe he’s only Jack from the Jack and the Beanstalk story. We don’t have any hard evidence for Bae being Henry’s father. But before this casting call came out, I was convinced that it was still true. But after reading the description, he may not be Henry’s father at all. We already know that Bae’s story shares some similarites with the Jack and the Beanstalk story. The big similarity being the magic bean. And now on top of that, we have this description of Jack that sounds an awful lot like Baelfire. Especially the “running away from his past in a dangerous land.”
He may not be Henry’s father at all. That’s just head canon for the time being. There’s more evidence pointing to him being Jack at the moment. But we’ll have to wait and see.
