True. Rumpel and Bae’s relationship will probably be explored further during the second half of the season. It’ll probably serve as the season’s climax.
We also keep forgetting that this curse is about Bae. It was created so that Rumpel could find him. Personally, I think the only way everyone will return to Fairytale land (if there’s anything to go back to) is for Rumpel to find Bae. That’s the reason why the curse created. Finding Bae is its main objective. So, something tells me that no one is going anywhere until Rumpel gets his hands on Bae.

No, if Emma dies then the curse is broken. No one said anything about everyone going back to Fairytale land. That’s just your speculation.

I really think that Rumpel’s plan was to have Emma come to town and break the memory curse and the keeping everyone stuck in Storybrooke curse. Then he wants to find Bae. And then he is going to kill Emma so that he can return to fairytale land.
Uh…what? Since when does Emma have to die in order to return to Fairytale land?
