Personally, I saw the scene where Belle was talking to Grumpy in “Dreamy” as her confessing her love for Rumpel. She didn’t seem afraid of him or even that angry at him in that scene. And her final scene with him in “Skin Deep” was Belle trying to get Rumpel to open eyes and realize what was doing. She was being forceful. And like I said before, she obviously didn’t seem that angry at him in “Dreamy” or “A Land Without Magic.”
And as Price of Magic already said, she’s been away from Rumpel for 28 years. After 28 years of being locked in a tiny little room by a stranger, and kept away from her one true love, something tells me an argument they had 28 years ago isn’t going to anger her that much anymore.
I agree. She’s been away from Rumpel for 28 years. 28 WHOLE YEARS. Why wouldn’t she be happy to see him? It’s been nearly 3 decades since she last saw him. She was probably overwhelmed with joy at the sight of him. And an argument that happened nearly 30 years ago wasn’t going to factor into her feelings for him at that moment. I seriously doubt someone who has just been reunited with their true love, and has had 28 years worth of memories restored to them, is going to suddenly reject and recoil in fear at the sight of their true love. That wouldn’t make any sense.
