Totally off the wall, but we may come to find out that Snow’s mother, and Charming’s father were good wizards, who’s powers were passed down to their grand-daughter – Emma. 😮
[adrotate group="5"]mikeParticipantEqually important as the location of Cora’s heart, is the fact that we learned that you can put someone’s heart back into them. Kitsis and Horowitz would not have shown the scene of Mulan putting Aurora’s heart back unless it was important to establish this fact – for future events. This leads me to believe that Cora, or someone equally significant, will have their heart put back in the future.
mikeParticipantPeople’s minds are flying with great ideas on Cora’s heart. I like both ideas, of her heart being in someone else, but the heart is in another world. Although the probability is really low, what if….. the heart Regina took from her mother’s vault and gave to Victor Frankenstein was Cora’s heart? Maybe Cora felt the best place to keep her heart was just with all her other hearts. However, now her heart is beating in the chest of Victor’s re-animated brother, which rumor has it, we will be meeting in the second half of season two.
Personally, I think that would be too convenient for the writers, and I would prefer something more adventurous, like Emma (and a few others) going on a quest through other worlds to find Cora’s heart. Their purpose would be not to crush the heart, but to use it against Cora to stop her reign of terror.

I apologize if someone already presented this idea, but…what if the author of the book turns out to be, the people in the book.
Here is the general outline – Some point in the future the book is written. Each story will be written by those characters in those particular stories. The stories will be bound together into a book (with the help of August), and then the book will be transported into StoryBrook’s past (with the help of Jefferson, or by some other form of magic), to be received by Mary Margret in the past.
Why? To get Henry started on his path of breaking the curse.

1.) Who wrote it? – Possibly the Blue Fairy or Rumple.
2.) Who gave it to Mary Margret? – Blue Fairy, Rumple, Regina?
3.) Can we confirm or deny whether the book even mentions the existence of Rumple? 😮Has it been mentioned by Henry or others, if Rumple is even mentioned in the book, in any of the stories? If not, then why?

Doesn’t Snow White have a first and last name? All her friends in the EF just called her Snow, so I assume it’s her first name and White is her surname. Also, Regina’s first name carried over from the EF to SB, so I assume her last name did, too, and it’s Mills. Plus, her father’s tomb stone read “Henry Mills, Beloved Father.” So, it seems like their family name was Mills in the EF, before the curse.
I think the writers intentionally introduced the audience to Killian Jones’s full name, since as theorized in the initial reactions podast, his last name have special significance to his backstory. Killian Jones might be related to the Captain Davy Jones.
I did think of Snow White, but was not sure if White was her surname or not. For Regina, it’s my opinion that she gave herself that surname when she arrived in SB. Did they ever mention that as her, or her father’s, last name in FTL? Maybe she selected that name based on her families past profession as millers (or so we think). It’s just curious as to why they would give a full name to Captain Hook, but not the Mad Hatter? I’m in the camp that his last name (Jones) will connect him to Davey Jones.
October 22, 2012 at 12:05 pm in reply to: Rumple just keeps digging himself deeper and deeper… #157561mikeParticipantYou walk out on your family, and the next time you see your husband (7+ years latter) he is magical, with gold skin, rotted teeth, his hand is in your lovers chest, and your confrontational with him? She was not the least bit curious as to where her son was, or what happened to Rumple, not the least bit apologetic for her actions. Obviously, the writers could have given a line or two to address this, but they wanted to show that her character had moved on and did not care about her past life. Rumple should have just walked away. Not sure how Bae (when found) could forgive his dad for killing his mom. The only resolution, at the end of the series, would be one huge act of bravery by Rumple (without his powers), to save everyone and FTL.
mikeParticipantMaybe that is whey Regina wanted Snow’s heart once she grows up. The heart of a good person. She gets to have Snow die, plus gets her heart to put in Daniel, who she kept alive in FTL after Doctor Whale re-animates him.
mikeParticipantWhy is it that, aside from the Blue Fairy, all users of magic become dark and evil. It would be nice to show magic used for good, protection, to help others. Maybe when Regina is eventually faced with Cora she will use her magic for good, helping Henry and the citizens of StoryBrook. Maybe this will feel even better to her, than using it for dark purposes. Maybe this will help her towards full redemption. That, and her giving back what should has taken from everyone so far (ie., hearts, happy endings, family).
mikeParticipantI started this post back in April based on the evidence of there were no more magic beans, and that the enchanted tree used for the wardrobe was the last remaining tree. In addition, others have speculated that dragons and pixie dust were in limited supply.
Finally we have another example from season two, episode three: magical Lake Nostros has evaporated, or has the water been taken by someone or something? I don’t believe the death of the Lady of the Lake caused the water to vanish. It seemed important for the writers to set up Snow and PC’s mother needing the water from the lake so the writers could show us that the lake was now gone. Why explain it off as it vanishing from PC killing the Lady?
