I like that they tied so much up and yet left some new things dangling. I hate shows that are totally cliffhangers like if they had left Henry dead. I think shows that do that can be really silly because you never believe it and if they are going to kill a character i think it is bad to wait and see if they are dead until the next season. If they are dead then be dead and that be the end of it.
I agree with you. On the whole, I think many viewers are happy, as the last few episodes did anwer many questions we all had, although a couple remain, but that is what season two is for. Plus the ending gives the show a whole new direction to go in – having magic in SB.

I found his interaction with Prince Charming on the shores (after PC came out of the water from Maleficent’s castle) interesting. He was excited the task was complete, but he also friendly to PC, as he invited him to warm-up at the fire. And earlier, he confessed to PC that he was in love at one point. For Rumple, these were some moments of him letting down his guard and showing his human side, which after many years of being the Dark One, he still had.

I bet the dark knight who saves Charming is actually the Huntsman! 😀
Definitely the Huntsman. It would be great to see him, and the Gennie in the mirror, doing their part in helping Prince Charming escape the Evil Queen and her veiled guards.
mikeParticipantI believe they will retain their SB memories, but things will obviously change, since they will get their memories back. What will all the former kings do, once they realize they are no longer kings?
Although I believe alot of the townsfolk will want to string up Regina, and we may see them come very close to killing her, I believe she will find a way to keep herself alive and well as long as she has something the people of SB need. She may convince them that if she dies, they all die, and that no one goes back to FTL. My thought is, the people of SB will divide into two factions, those that want to go back to FTL and the magic, and those that perfer their new lives in SB without magic. The people that were afflicted with issues in FTL (stuck in a mirror, turning into a wolf, being a dwarf committed to mining) may want to remain in SB.
mikeParticipantIf his SB personality is the opposite of his true personality and character from FTL, then I believe he is Robin Hood. If his personality and character are the same in both SB and FTL, then I believe he is Captain James Hook.
mikeParticipantI enjoy watching the show and concur with both OnceFan and SuperPac. Ms. Goodwin, Morrison, Parrilla, and Ory have each had their moments of Emmy winning performances in this first season, plus they are all very attractive ladies 🙂 . You add those quality actors to a great story and writing and you have a keeper. I praise Horowitz and Kitsis for their approach of storytelling. Horowitz and Kitsis seem to be making a conscious effort to answer viewers questions and theories within their story line; but not give to much away – they are striking the correct balance.

My bad. I must have went into the wrong section. 😳
mikeParticipantHi, I’ve been trying not to watch any promo’s or sneak peeks for the finale, so I would appreciate that any discusion about what you saw in promos/sneak peeks get covered as a potential spoiler – thanks 🙂
mikeParticipantOUAT comes to mind at times when I’m hiking with my dogs through the state park near my home, as the topography is similar to the locations they film around Vancouver. When I’m alone on one of a few paths that runs through dense, large pines, ferns and moss covered fallen trees, its quite peaceful and relaxing. 😀
mikeParticipantIn An Apple Red as Blood, August showed Henry his left arm was made of wood, but he was able to move the fingers on his left hand (which was covered with a glove), and he is able to walk (with wooden legs). Does this mean that his left hand is still human, or that he is capable of moving wooden body parts? I understand for cost reasons it was easier to keep his glove on, as opposed to creating a wooden hand, but if he can move his body parts (legs, fingers) even though they’ve become wood, what makes August think he wouldn’t be able to function once completely wood (magical enchanted wood)? So does he really need magic, or does he only need to be brave, truthful, and unselfish.
Also, August needs to realize that by wanting to only spend time with his father he is still being selfish. He still needs to be brave and get back to helping Emma, at all costs.
