If Neal were to die who tells the Regals that Regina can’t enjoy her new romance because she has to comfort her mourning son?
Neal = hope. The death of Neal would be the death of hope. Neal will live.

mollyParticipantI interpret the evidence as mounting toward Hook’s untimely demise. I admit extreme bias, yet some of the most recent tweets from Adam suggest an attempt to reinterpret Hook’s relatioship with Emma. Hook has not been stated to be a love interest for Emma? That feels a little different than has been previously suggested by A&E. And why do that now if it’s not a weak, doomed to fail, attempt to temper expectations. I believe that mind games are being played and that MRJ is intentionally being kept under wraps. The online community will assume that Neal dies and then, shock, Neal lives.

mollyParticipantSounds like the Captain may be facing grave danger. If that is the case, then I wish A&E would just send him off on an adventure, to be brought back at a later point in time. Imagine Hook returning and wanting to focus on being a better person. Either Rumple or Regina could take him under their wing (like a sponsor) as both will be much farther along on their redemption paths. Could have been fun times.
There’s no story line dicated reason for killing off Rumple’s son, Henry’s father, and the man whose absences continue to hurt Emma.

mollyParticipantI think that A&E are fully into their mind games. MRJ might be kept under a low profile to heighten the shock factor for the spoilered people. Look at how many people will be surprised when Neal lives.
Look at how often Henry gets what he wants on the show, even if it’s not necessarily in the manner he had in mind. What could possibly be the justification for making Henry wish he had never sought out Emma to break the curse? Henry’s entire family will be a chaotic, big, sort of happy family by the time the series ends with Rumple’s wedding to Belle. With Neal as best man.
I stand by my theory that A&E are trying to make spoiler lovers regret ever asking for spoilers. It’s a world gone sideways when there’s more joy on Sleepy Hollow forums than OUAT forums.

mollyParticipantI don’t think we have enough evidence yet that A&E are going in the direction of completely undermining the show that they’ve written so far. Maybe someone could bring back that Rose McIver quote from several days ago in which she suggested that the heavy predictions aren’t right. And warning, if the unhappiness keeps up, I may have to break out into “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” Nobody wants that. 🙂

mollyParticipantNot to be a contrarian, but I’m 99.95% certain that Neal lives. Too much of the foundation of the show would have to be altered in order to justify Neal’s death. Rumple’s entire series long arc would have to change and Rumple could never have his happy ending. I don’t care who’s on set or when. Neal lives. I will believe unless I’m shown otherwise on the show.

mollyParticipantI like your crack theory, Ranisha.

mollyParticipantThe reports of the filming have me very excited, despite the wacky spoilers coming out.
If I’ve understood the themes of the series then, we’ve been told that love is greater than hate and forgiveness is greater than revenge.
I hope that during the next several months everyone keeps in mind that filming schedules don’t necessarily mean anything. For example, if one episode wraps on Tuesday and the next episode begins filming on Wednesday, an actor may work out a filming schedule that front loads work on the first episode and back loads work on the next episode to get a week off. In that time an actor may fly to LA, or anywhere, and it would mean nothing for the character. Believe. 🙂

mollyParticipantMaybe there’s a plan to get people to stop asking for spoilers by making the spoilers people do get horrible. What actually occurs in the context of the show might not be as bad as people are currently assuming. Have hope. 🙂

mollyParticipantThat’s a nice theory. It could be the start of the heroic arc that allows Hook to sacrifice himself for Neal and/or Henry. (Again with the caveat that I don’t actually want Hook to die.)
