ParticipantOff the topic of Tamara; I liked how they had the shadow running the Home Office. It made it tie in nicely.
But do you think the shadow is Peter Pan, or do you think that guy was referring to himself in third person? If you think about it, it could be either one. I automatically assumed the shadow was Peter, but that guy the said “Peter Pan never fails,” could have been referring to himself in third person. Either way, I liked how it tied in.[adrotate group="5"]moonlight1876
ParticipantYou’re right, they wouldn’t. I am though, because what I say has historical backing. The cases in which “witches” were persecuted, a reasoning that they always used was, “the devil was in her/him.” Most of the people in the Salem witch trials were not even witches, They used religion as an excuse. “God” would not condone killing innocent people. And the image of the devil is completely false, they made Lucifer have horns because of the Pagan horned god. I am born christian, but I realise that christians and catholics have a bloody history with people they condone as evil. That is what this Home Office is doing, using words like “evil” and “unholy” saying that it doesn’t belong. But magic is just as much a part of this earth as it is in FTL, not as instantaneous or “easy” as theirs, magic works invisibly, and imperceptibly. Pagans had an immense connection with the earth, they had knowledge of magic, spells and rituals. And yet they were regarded as snakes. People have been using religion and “bad/evil” to condone horrific acts for centuries. Hitler called jews the “inferior race”, I don’t agree with that, but it helps my point. They would never say that, but as a person who has been interested in history, particularly anything to do with magic, I realize that a lot of people have been using that as an excuse for a very long time, especially those two religions
Then again, some with magical skill were worshiped as gods, like the Tuatha De Danann, which became the basis of the Irish Faery Faith.moonlight1876
ParticipantAlso ,the Home office could be devout catholics or christians like the ones who made Paganism as evil, even though it was/is a religion of the Earth. It could be like making the horned god the devil and things like that. Not that I don’t admire Saint Patrick, but he was the one who “drove the snakes out of Ireland” aka, pagans, and I am mad about that. If they wanted to, they could have made the “Home Office” as old as the Illuminati, or the Freemasons, they could even make it so they were originally part of one of those groups, or a merging of “Magic Haters”. Like what was already said, the Salem Trials show how many people like that there are in the world, and have been since the dawn of time.

ParticipantI had that theory about the Darlings as well, however, as my little sister pointed out, if the Darlings were in charge, Wendy wouldn’t have let them trick Bae like that, nor would have let anything happen to them, unless she died and she was not there to stop it. She is most likely dead now. But even though she died, she would have left something about Bae, and Tamara knew exactly who he was. If Bae was important enough for Wendy to start it, if the shadow didn’t get her or the boys, then she would have left something telling the people about Bae. Or the Darlings would have, had Wendy or the boys gotten kidnapped by the shadow, which would definitely fuel their hate for magic. To them, magic is evil, so it would make sense that it would be them who started it. But if it was them, even if they were dead, they would have been sure that someone knew about Bae. They thought he was kidnapped by the shadow, they didn’t know he got away. I can just see them in London wearing their top hats discussing how, “it takes away children,” and “destroys families.” I personally think that the “Home Office” was a reference to the Home Office in the UK, like Greg and Tamara are civil servants. Not that their “Home Office” is the Home Office necessarily, but I think they are fancying themselves the Home Office of magical problems. And that would make even more sense if the Darlings started it. But they wouldn’t let Bae get hurt; unless they founded it but are not around to run it anymore and left nothing telling about him, and the new people in charge decided that nothing would stop them.
But if it is part of the Home Office, major government conspiracy right there.moonlight1876
ParticipantI know they couldn’t, that is why I said it would be a good Fanfiction. And yes, it could have, Theoretically, the hat is a bridge between worlds. They’ve had crossovers with less. You can do many things with Fanfiction that the actual writers cannot.

ParticipantI agree! It just popped in my head as I was trying to sleep, and I didn’t really think it true. It’s just one of those shocking things like, “It can’t be!” So I wanted to prove that it wasn’t, and you helped w/ that!

ParticipantGood point, because he is there, we know that the rest of the Knights have to be there at some point. Question is will they set it in Camelot?
You’re probably right about Neverland. It would be funny if they made Neal be Peter Pan, but he’ll probably just be one of the lost boys. But it would make sense if they made him Peter, his father is the one who cut off Hook’s hand after all, and in all the other Pan tales, Hook lost his hand because of Peter.moonlight1876
ParticipantThank you! You have made my year so far! 😀

ParticipantThat’s true, Jekyll is David, Hyde is James. Never made that connection.
If they did Dracula, I wonder what his accent would be…. Would they make him do a transylvanian accent or not? Don’t know, but whether Drac or another vampire, just as long as they can’t go into the sunlight, I have no beef.moonlight1876
ParticipantWhatever the person so desired. But if green: emerald; if blue: midnight, If purple: amethyst; black was on the list of course, gold, silver, maybe a metallic blue-green, or whatever material or color it wanted to be. This is a dress that you could have multiple colors. I have more designs as well, not so “flabam” but still that same kind-of style, but a lot that I would wear everyday if I could. So, in terms of color, whatever color you want it. But the collar and sleeve bands I originally thought green and gold, like an enchanted tree’s leaves.
