I like the idea of Jefferson popping out of the hat and absconding Emma as a favor to the Queen for some deal. What would really blow me away though is if August did something we didn’t expect as a favor to Regina. I am not convinced August is completely on the “good” side of things — not completely, but mostly. I have to leave a little room for those conniving writers to trick me 😀
I know every time I became convinced of something on LOST, they changed the game, somehow.
I was thinking Jefferson would be in episode 20, and with Henry and Paige, tries to break the curse, but something else happens, the apple tree appears in Storybrooke. Then episode 21, Emma has broken, she's terrified of Storybrooke and what it can do. She tries to run away, but Henry stops her. But what really stops her is Mary Margeret. Regina has poisoned her with one of the apples. Episode 22 is court, and this is what August wanted to do. Try Regina for all her crimes, or at least for poisoning Mary Margeret. But they're losing, because Mary Margeret suddenly gets better, and that's when Belle is revealed. Everyone finds out that Regina locked her up, and while they have no proof, they all know it's her. They hate her, and King George challenges Regina to the title of mayor. And Emma, but David takes her place. In FTL, the huntsman is sent to help Snow, because the Evil Queen hates King George as much as everyone else for reasons unknown. Then, all the magic in the land disappears and King George takes control of the mysterious chaos. In SB, everyone leaves, except Belle. And she suddenly dies. End season. You know what I’ve just realised? Once Upon a Time is basically a soap opera with fairytale characters, really. (Or maybe I’m wrong, I’ve never watched a soap opera, but if I’m right, Once Upon a Time is the best soap opera I’ve ever seen, not that that means much, considering I’ve never watched a soap opera… Oh well).
[adrotate group="5"]mujieParticipantThe images suggest Bae, but then again, if you've watched the latest trailer for the last few episodes, they say everyone remembers. Someone said it might be a dream. And I think I agree, one of the nightmares she has between episodes 20 and 21? They could be trying to trick us here as well. So Pinnocchio’s body is the book? But the book wouldn’t enter the wardrobe, it was still in Storybrooke. It was with Mary Margeret. Someone once said Pinnocchio could be the wardrobe. Maybe Pinnocchio gave it more power so that it could hold 2, but it wasn’t enough. Pinnocchio’s body got trapped in the book, which could only stay with who it was closest to. His conscience goes where? His original body, I’m thinking (or hoping). Because there are only 2 possible options for Bae, I think. Either Bae is someone in Storybrooke, or, because they have to give him a good send-off, Rumplestiltskin murders him.
mujieParticipantOh yeah, I saw that. I agree with it. And I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought August was Henry’s dad. I couldn’t find it (then again, I didn’t look very hard).
You could be right about Pinnocchio, actually. The wardrobe was the only thing that could protect people from the curse, so it would make sense that it’s the only thing that can remember. (Now I’m going with the theory that Pinnocchio became the wardrobe!) But the Mad Hatter remembered. So does that mean Pinnocchio’s plan backfired and the tree really could only hold one?
mujieParticipantO, U and T are capitals because that’s how titles are written!!!
We’re finding out who wrote the book next season, not this season.
But what do I know? I think August is Henry’s dad.

Because no one except Snow White and Prince James had a happy ending in FTL. Maybe Pinnochio, but I doubt it.
mujieParticipantI’m the only one who thinks David of Mary will die? It would be a cliffhanger for the end of the season and I’m still thinking the title of episode 22 is going to be the cliffhanger at the end of the season.
mujieParticipantI saw that a while ago. Who do you think it is? don’t think we’re thinking the same thing.

OK, I’ve been looking at the preview gallery pics at:
http://beta.abc.go.com/shows/once-upon-a-time/photos/sneak-peeks/sneak-peek-119/_m_sneak-peek-119a
I’ve noticed some possible references that may indicate August’s identity. If the pics are what I think they are, Lewis Carroll and The White Knight may be out of the running.
Please, view the pics, if you have not already done so. I believe they are quite telling. I’ll try to describe it without spoiling the fun.
The link should get you to the gallery on the ABC OUAT page. The setting is Mr. Gold’s shop and the props are telling us a story.
In one pic, August is entering the shop. Notice the lamps. Most do not have bulbs but one lamp has a bulb that is off and another lamp, above it, the bulb is on. Also, notice the nice trail the lamp cords make to…a certain musical instrument. It’s quite obvious. If that’s not enough, look at any of the lamps without bulbs. There is a shape created in the negative space by the metal support frame that would normally hold a lamp shade. In fact, imagine holding a bulb in your hand and what else might you make of it?
Another pic in the gallery series shows August in front of a painting. The painting looks as though it might be of an ocean scene but it is obscured by…two lamps without bulbs and what looks like a tattered banjo case. Interesting repetition of shapes, eh? It’s also interesting the “neck” end of the case points to August. Notice also, behind Mr. Gold, the sailboat with its mast pointing to a globe pointing more towards the ocean than the land. The sail boat can be seen more clearly in a different pic and on the shelf above that are some suspect figurines but they are out of focus.
Then, another pic, a close-up of August, seems to mix up the clues a bit. Notice the old-style oil cans on the shelf? Also, there is a figurine of what looks like an asian doll. It’s brightly lit by the lamp above and slightly out-of-focus so I can’t determine if the arms are a part of the figurine or separate…but attached.
There is also what seems to be an old printer’s press in the shop. There are lots of other props but these were the most identifiable upon first viewing. I thought it worth passing along and it may be worth posting at a higher level to see what others think.
Again, the link:
http://beta.abc.go.com/shows/once-upon-a-time/photos/sneak-peeks/sneak-peek-119/_m_sneak-peek-119aLike the hand gestures, shadows and beams of light leading the viewer to details in the painting, “The Last Supper,” there seems to be a visual story being told by the props in Mr. Gold’s shop.
Curiouser and curiouser….then, it is a Curios Shop, right? So, let’s shop.
I have no idea who you think August is, but the text story seems to be saying that they have a relationship, which may mean… Bae.

I think people are trying to not be spoilerish here. And the promo may be a dream. I have wanted Emma to believe since i saw the pilot and think that it needs to happen by the end of this season. That at least has to happen, in my opinion.
Maybe it is. Maybe that is in episode 20/21.
mujieParticipantYeah, if anyone's watched the new trailer, you'll know it's not just Emma who believes. She and the whole of Storybrooke want to kill Regina. When good goes bad.
