I agree, Adam and Eddy seem to really like the love triangle idea. (sigh) Just sit back and enjoy the ride, I suppose.
At least we got about 12 minutes of Swanfire before Tamara showed up.
[adrotate group="5"]naomiParticipantSo. Still don’t like her, guys. 😆 So I'm guessing – if Tamara doesn't go with them on Hook's ship…then she somehow makes her own way to SB later on? Seems like the possessive type…
Poor Emma. It looked like her and Neal were starting to be more comforable around each other, too. If I could hug all SwanFire supporters in ths thread I woud. (hug)
naomiParticipantnaomiParticipantMaybe Charming and Nealfire will have a friendly duel. Because, you know. I want them to bond despite being adorably suspicious of each other.
naomiParticipantLol. Not at first, but you’re right. That doesn’t look like Hook!
Also: I find it cute how Rumple holds open the door for Bae/Emma and Bae opens the door for Henry. They are SO father and son.
naomiParticipantI am in a public place. Heard the “papa” line. Screamed anyway.
naomiParticipantThe Rumple and Emma dialogue was adorable. He totally wants her to be daughter-in-law. 😛
naomiParticipantHere’s some more happiness for everybody. (Sorry if it’s already been posted.)
naomiParticipantSometimes, sadly, it’s not the character themselves but who they’re up against.
I have a feeling that even if Tamara is a wonderful person – the perfect girlfriend who is sweet and witty and charming and understanding, with a compelling backstory – it doesn’t matter. She’s against Emma. In fact, the more perfect she is, the more the audience will likely sympathize with Emma. If Tamara is flawed – pushy, and interfering with Henry like some people guessed – the audience will still sympathize with Emma. Has anyone seen the new sneak peek? Well, it looks like even Rumple will be on Emma's side if it ever came to a love triangle. So would Snow and Charming. So would the dwarves and Belle and Red and Granny, probably.
Basically, Tamara is a someone who is preventing the main protagonist of the show from getting what they want. That’s just….I don’t see how this could end happily for all those involved. It’ll cause pain for Emma (basically Neal will break her heart a second time), and…I just don’t like it. There are so many ways, like you guys mentioned, that SwanFire could have conflict that do not involve a love triangle.
Also…from the spoiler photos some ppl have speculated that Neal and Tamara met shortly before curse-break, when Augst was on his way to SB. If that's true, then I admit this makes me feel a little resentment towards Neal. Couldn't he have waited? It was so close to her 28th birthday, and he knew she would be free. And to get engaged in that time…doesn't scream “true love” ala SnowxCharming to me. If it must happen, I guess I'm interested to see how it happened.

Maybe that’s what they are going for to make it more dramatic but it doesn’t make me very happy. Of course the alternative is worse…that since she is standing with all of them there that they have accepted her as a part of the group or family and they all get along and Emma is happy that Neal has found someone and I think I’m gonna hurl…I don’t want them to play nice…they did that with MM and Kathryn.
I agree. ^This will definitely hurt me too. As a Swanfire shipper the worst thing that could happen is if they just move on and don’t even address a romantic possibility between Emma and Bae for long time.
Maybe…maybe Rumple will inadvertently do something to break up Neal and Tamara. He usually has some role in ruining his son’s relationships. With Bae and Morraine it was the whole Dark One thing…with Bae and Emma it was cursing her parents and forcing her to save Storybrooke.
Yup. Here’s hoping Bae and Tamara don’t stand a chance against Rumple’s shenanigans. 😆 If that doesn’t work, I hope (like other people have mentioned) that Tamara will simply fall for someone else.
