I actually loved Rumple’s reaction to the Henry-is-Bae’s-son reveal. I mean, he starts off yelling at Neal and Emma like they’re two misbehaving teenagers (love their guilty exchange of looks) and then Henry walks in and it seems to finally click in Gold’s head. Then he just backs into the corner between the window and the bookcase and stares at everyone with this pained expression on his face for the rest of the scene. A second favorite would be Gold buying Henry a hot dog.
Least favorite? Robably Cora and Regina plotting to steal the dagger. I really hoped Regina would redeem herself, but I guess it’s too soon for that. Also – a map in the library? That seems RIDICULOUSLY EASY. And why would Gold draw a map to something he wanted to keep hidden in the first place?l
[adrotate group="5"]naomiParticipantTo me, Milah’s a very vain person who is worried more about what people think of her than about what Rumple or Bae might be feeling. If she really thought her son would suffer more by having a coward for a father than being fatherless, why didn’t she take Bae with her on Hook’s ship?
naomiParticipantWhat if it’s Pinnocchio?!
There are those spoiler photos of young!Pinocchio, right?
naomiParticipantLoved how he came back to make sure she was safe —- as much as it must have killed him to see his papa again. 😥
naomiParticipant^Agreed. Everybody excited??
I think we really need to move this thread out ‘Tallahassee’ and into the general spoilers section…
naomiParticipantI love how most of us can imagine him just bumming around with Henry all day. 😆
Which is awesome, because I really think they need to get the next Operation off the ground, and Emma’s espionage skills are – to be honest – not that great, because she didn’t really try. Wouldn’t it be great if we could see Neal and Henry running around Storybrooke, meeting conspiratorally in alley ways, talking in code, and spying on grandpa? 😛
Although…looking at that pic of Neal with the sword…did any of the spoiler reports mention Henry was in the scene?? Wasn't Gold missing too? What if Cora and Regina use the dagger to control Rumple and force him to bring Henry to the? Hm.
naomiParticipantOn weekends and afterschool he can be coach of the junior soccer team. 😛
naomiParticipantHere’s one of my crazy theories. (Warning: I assume Neal is Bae in the post below. LOL.)
I think the prophecy has something to do with cowardice and the Rumpelstiltskin blood line. Maybe the seer predicted that Rumpelstiltskin would be a coward, just like his father, and that Baelfire would be a coward too.
Maybe that’s why in Desperate Souls, Zoso and Hordor kept questioning Baelfire’s paternity because at 13 he was still strong-willed and brave – and their teasing did seem to have an effect on Rumple.
Zoso: Have you ever wondered – was he really your child at all? Unlike you, he’s not a coward and yearns to fight and die in glory.
Rumpelstiltskin: No…
Zoso: What a poor bargain that would be – to lay down your soul to save your bastard son.
Hordor: Did you teach him how to run as well, Rumpelstiltskin? Did he tell you? Did he tell you how he ran and the ogres turned the tide of the battle, and all the others were killed, and he returned home to a wife who could not bear the sight of him?
So if the seer’s prophecy has something to do with cowardice or running, then it does predict the reunion between Rumple and Bae. Much to Rumple’s dismay, Baelfire runs away from him.
NATALIE: The details of how this reunion takes place were actually foretold long ago, as a flashback will reveal — and that’s not a good thing, at least for one series regular.
As for the last 30 seconds…
There are hints floating around right now that “predicting the future” is not as accurate as one might expect it to be.
Ausiello: What it means is that a seer shares with Rumplestiltskin a warning about his fate… but neglects to include some extremely pertinent details. What follows is a painful, painful* lesson in, “Always ask follow-up questions!”
Once Upon a Time Season 2 Spoilers: 10 Things to Know About “Manhattan”: Some powers aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.
To me, it seems like something tragic happens as a result of Rumple believing the prophecy the first time.
Now I don’t know have any proof for this…but maybe the last 30 seconds reveals a reversal of the prophecy? Something along the lines of: X, Y, and Z are predicted to happen…BUT maybe if someone acts unexpectedly, they can change the future? Maybe Emma brings out the courage in Bae to speak to his father? Or Henry does something brave to bring the family together?

I am also curious to see what Henry’s reaction is going to be when he finds out…
Me too! Something tells me Henry will handle it the best. The three grown-ups, on the other hand, will probably have issues around each other for a while. 😛
naomiParticipantOoh, firefighter: good one!
Can you imagine him going around to collect people’s rent? LOL. I wonder if he’d give people extensions, or be super strict abiut deal-breaking, like his father.
