ParticipantAww at the Cassady-Swan family trio meeting for the first time.
If the spell brings Emma to Neal, I don’t think it will click in her head that he’s Bae. At least not right away. She might think it’s another one of Rumple’s dirty tricks (like Maleficent and the golden egg thing)…sending her straight to the man who broke her heart. And then, of course, she puts two-and-two together and reacts strongly. 😆
I could see Emma furious and killshot-ready.
Neal confused and guilt-ridden and shocked.
And Henry completely unfazed and ecstatic about finding his father.
I’m thinking Henry will handle it the best out of all of them. From what we saw with him talking to Jefferson about Paige/Grace earlier, he seems to be the type who will forgive Neal (and Emma for lying to him) and would want their family to be together. Hopefully he’ll bring some levity to an otherwise angsty reunion between Neal and Emma.
Of course, if the three of them meet outside SB, that means they’ll probably be returning to a full-out war between Cora, Hook, Rumple, Regina, King George and David. Especially with Hook and Cora, Neal/Bae and Henry are going to be super vulnerable…Emma’s going to have to get into a defensive Mother Bear mode.

ParticipantCould this episode be (partly) covering Aurora’s backstory?
I don’t know why, but Edith reminds me of a Merryweather. Maybe Katerina (Aurora’s mother?) needs to hide baby Aurora from Maleficent, so she gives her to Edith, who hides her in the forest to raise as her own. ??
Don’t know how Tamara/Tianna fits in. ^

ParticipantNow if we only had some indication about where he’ll be filming…usually he’ll tweet when he’s on his way to Vancouver. 😆
I really want to know if he’ll make it to Storybrooke on his own, or if someone has to drag him there.
slurpeez108: And on what may or may note be a related note, I also hope we’ll get to see more of Dylan. Not necessarily in FTL, but post-portal. I know this show is packed as it is (and getting more crowded!) but I really want them to flesh out the Bae storyline. But that’s just me.naomi
ParticipantOh ho, I knew something was up. He’s been uncharacteristically absent from twitter, now this. YES.

ParticipantRandom thought: If Neal is Bae…
Spoilers for 2×09:
I sense some rocky waters ahead for Neal and Emma. She already thinks that Rumple had her whole life mapped out for her…the fact that she just happened to meet and have a kid with his son might be a little disturbing for her peace of mind. She might think that what they had wasn't genuine and just part of the curse or some crazy magical trick. Any thoughts? In any case, I hope she does look for him. I would love to see them returning to Storybrooke together.

ParticipantMaybe magic ink is like an all-purpose thing. Can instantly vaporize prison bars or stun evil witches. So it could have been used at any point to their advantage. ??

ParticipantYup, it looks like Gold is going to use that favor to ask Emma to find his son.
But if Bae is really Neal, let’s hope she doesn’t shoot him on sight. 😆

ParticipantIt’s unclear whether Neal (if he’s Bae) knows that Rumplestiltskin is behind the curse. It’s an interesting idea to assume that Neal-Bae is staying away from SB because he’s avoiding his father, but it could just be that he’s ashamed of abandoning Emma. Maybe he thinks she’s happy to be reunited with her family, and so he’s not sure if he would be welcomed into her life right now.
I like the idea of someone from the outsde being hired to find Bae. Or someone hired by Bae or Neal to investigate SB. But — is that really worth a major recurring role? Ethan Embry is supposed to be playing a pretty important character. (I don’t even think Neal is a major recurring role – just a role with option.)
^Correct me if I got it mixed up. But the way it looks with the casting announcements, Ethan Embry’s character >>> Henry’s father in terms of what the writers have planned for the plot. At the moment.
ETA: Actually, I think one of the fans on set asked Ethan who his character is and he said he didn’t know.

ParticipantOh, for sure! Sorry – I should have been more clear. Obviously Belle was mad at him because he still didn’t trust her enough to be honest. It was all about honesty. But just seemed — in that one, particular episode — that all he did was spin gold, before she left him. In short, it was rushed. I think “the Crocodile” would have been much more effective over two episodes, actually. But maybe that’s just the Rumbelle fan in me talking.
One thing’s for sure. I can’t wait to see MRJ and Belle together. If Neal is Bae, I think they’ll either click immediately, or be adorably wary of each other. 😀

ParticipantWith Gerhardt AND Philip…I wonder if the theme of this episode will have something to do with “lost souls”?
I know dead is dead…technically. But technically Philip only had his soul sucked out and hasn’t truly died, right? Maybe there’s a spirit land or a place with lost souls, between life and death, like a purgatory…and in that realm Gerhardt meets Philip and helps him return back to the land of the living?
Either that or we’ll see one or both of them in flashbacks.
