ParticipantWatcher, I’ve been following your posts and I have to say that I love the way you think. I haven’t seen the movie yet but that sounds like such a viable theory. You are so on target about so many things. It’s almost as if you have a mirror on someone’s wall. 🙂 I haven’t had much time to be on this site over the past few months. I think I am going to catch up by reading your posts first. As I said, I love the way you think.

ParticipantI love it Watcher!
I thought I’d add a song about Peter Pan.
When just a lad, little Rumple named his straw doll, Peter Pan. After hundreds of years Rumple returns to Neverland and has the little doll back in his shirt pocket. The straw doll jumps out of Rumple’s pocket, clings to Rumple’s face…and while looking him straight in the eye… knocks on Rumple’s forehead…
Do you want to go see Papa?
If you do, I’d bring a blade.
I’ve been waiting oh so many years, and now your here, so make that green thief go away!I am just a toy doll, he stole my name, and made it something dark!
Do you want to go kill Papa?
Make sure to stab him through the heart.Twitter - @Milkglass123

ParticipantDefinitely was Cora the unfriendly Ghost. The real question for me is this…IS SHE REALLY DEAD? In the Hat Trick we know that Barbara Hershey did not play the Queen of Hearts. Many thought this was not a deal breaker because the Queen of Hearts stays behind a mask the entire time. What if this casting was purposeful….and in hind sight we will see that a different actress played Cora because Cora was not the one sitting the Queen chair in Wonderland at the time. Remember the game, “Follow the Lady”. The lady in the card game is the Queen of Hearts. Sleight of hand is the name of the day.
Some supporting evidence.
One episode of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland is titled, “To Catch a Thief.” In the movie there is a big con played with a big, secret switch of identities using a costume with a mask.
Cora can shape shift…she could be anyone at anytime…except (most likely) when there was not magic in Storybrook. Cora could be “Dorothy” and have gotten the silver slippers. She could have found one of many ways to jump realms. I don’t think Cora is fully dead. The candle that was used to kill her was her own magic, not to mention that she used shape-shifting Blue Fairy to get it into Snow’s hands to begin with. Peter Pan’s own magic cuffs didn’t work on him. How do we know Cora’s magic candle actually killed her. She could have faked her own death. She did it before. I think the reason that she was not speaking through the seance portal is that she is not actually dead….she’s not really most sincerely dead. 🙂
Cora can see across realms through her mirror. If she was able to get the silver slippers or beans or whatever she could be anywhere at any time. Have you noticed how various characters will look “off” sometimes. Rumple is SO RED when he goes to the land without color. Maybe it isn’t Rumple…maybe it is Cora shape shifting as Rumple…or if not shape shifting then possessing him somehow. There are other instances of color “bleeding through” characters.
Cora shows up in Wonderland…specifically breaks up Will and Anastasia…and then teaches Anastasia…not like Rumple teaches but in a more powerful way. Bam! She creates a powerful magic in the Red Queen and she does it quickly. Why???? There is an agenda there. It is obvious and it is unresolved. I don’t think Cora is dead. Either she is shape shifting or she is half dead and is possessing…a soul that is host jumping.
My favorite scene in all of OUaT is in this episode. It is when Regina puts her hand across Snow’s belly to protect her from Cora. I’ve gone out on a limb in other posts and said that I think Regina is Snow’s biological mother (forgotten/wiped) memories but even if she isn’t…the maternal love that she shows at that moment is amazing. It is my absolute favorite scene in the entire three seasons.

Participant…more pictures of the Regina is the original Snow White theory…
Following the Betty Boop trail. There is a Betty Boop episode where Betty Boop is Snow White. Ironically, in this episode, the Evil Queen looks to be the Queen of Hearts and says, “Off with her Head!” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNG8GYrh1mgAttachments:

ParticipantI think Jonathan may be Regina’s biological father and Cora is not Regina’s biological mother, but rather a secret adoptive Mommy Dearest kind of mother. This would mean that when Regina said, “I think I’d remember if my mother mentioned having an affair with the scarecrow!” would be a true statement. Mary Margaret said something similar about thinking that she would remember having a kid before the curse was broken. Of course, at the time, we all knew that she had a child, Emma, and that she truly did not remember having her.
I don’t however think that Cora is Regina’s biological mother. I think Cora secretly obtained baby Regina and passed her off as her and Prince Henry’s child…either because Henry couldn’t father children or Cora was cursed and couldn’t have anymore children. I have a theory that Jonathan might be something of a Dark Johnny Appleseed….sowing his seed all over the place creating baby “apple trees” that will end up being half siblings. In the graphic comic Fables, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella all had been married to the same man (not at the same time). It would be interesting if Jonathan has left a trail of half-siblings out there that Regina does not know about.
If you want to know my way-out-there-wildest-speculation-there-is I’ll share it….
I think Regina is the original Snow White and Cora is really the Evil Queen. Here are a few pics. The sketch drawings were original concept art for Snow White.

ParticipantI think Santa Clause might be coming to the Once Upon a Time mythology.
When I heard about Elizabeth Mitchell joining the cast at first I was thinking LOST and then I remembered Elizabeth is Disney’s Mrs. Santa Clause! With Frozen’s Anna, Elsa and Reindeer already mentioned on set the chance of a Santa Clause tie seems like a real possibility. I put together a short list of possible nods. There may be more but this is what I remembered.
1. One Storybrooke shot has a store window all decorated in Christmas stuff. (don’t remember what episode)
2. In Once Upon a Time Wonderland when Alice and Cyrus go to Storybrooke there are Santa decorations in Mr. Gold’s shop window. (there are also two buckets of different colored eggs) http://yvrshoots.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/ouat-w-5_marked.jpg
3. In a Season 3 episode Emma asks Henry if he believes in magic and he replies, yes, Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny.
4. There is a scene in Red-Handed where Snow is hiding in Granny’s hen house and Red finds her and says that people call her Red. Snow’s replies that her name is “Sn-Frosty”! There was a lot of snow in that episode as well.
5. All the Hot Cocoa that is consumed on this show! lolGranny Lucas
It says that Elizabeth’s character has ties to Anna and Elsa as well as Storybrooke. I would love to see Elizabeth play a young Granny Lucas and I would love for Granny’s backstory to cross over into Frozen’s story!!! “I can’t control the wolf!” is so much like Elsa’s not being able to control her ice magic. There are a lot of parallels with Elsa pulling off her cloak and “letting it go” and Rudy shedding her cloak and controlling the wolf and letting herself run. There is so much beautiful snow and winter scenery in the Red-Handed story and it is also in this episode where we get Snow calling herself the name of Frosty. There are a lot of people who want to see Widow Lucas and Gepetto get together. Gepetto makes toys.
Robin Hood
Following my train of thought, if Widow Lucas’s backstory is part of a possible “Santa”, “Frozen” story, I thought about Robin Hood and how he uses a cross-bow in Storybrooke just like Granny Lucas uses a cross-bow. So I did a google search with the words, Santa Clause and Robin Hood just to see what would come up and I was surprised to find that both Santa Clause and Robin Hood come from the same origin legends of the forest’s Wild Men (see Google Books, “Santa Clause, Last of the Wild Men” by Phyllis Siefker, put “Robin Hood” in the “search this book” box and you will see some of the places Robin Hood is mentioned). Bears are also part of the Wild Man mythology. Bear imagery also works itself into OUaT in multiple places (bear in Rumples’ castle, Henry in baby bear outfit”. As of yet those nods have gone unexplained. In Santa Clause 3, Mrs. Clause is pregnant. How much fun would it be for Robin Hood to be related to Santa and Mrs. Clause….and/or Granny Lucas.
Hot Cocoa with Cinnamon
Why so many mentions of hot cocoa with cinnamon?Robin Hood being part of the Santa Clause family tree fits in well with my crazy theory about Robin Hood and Regina. If my crazy theory turns out to be true…that Robin Hood and Regina are Snow-White’s biological parents, then the hot cocoa part of the craving would come from the Santa Clause line of the family (Robin Hood’s side) and the cinnamon part of the craving would come from Regina’s side of the family (cinnamon being the spice of choice to go with apples).

ParticipantYes, I think Regina has a backstory before Daniel that we have never seen. I think she knew Robin before she ever met Daniel. I think Robin gave her the green ring. I think her and Robin’s memories were wiped and they do not know that they knew each other before. This parallels the story of David and Mary Margaret in Storybrooke. They had a relationship, David gave her the green ring, they had a baby and they didn’t remember any of it at all.  Mary Margaret makes the comment, “Snow White had a kid…you would think she would remember that.” We also saw this in the Enchanted Forest when Snow White drank the potion and wiped her memories of Charming.
