ParticipantPlease read what I wrote a page back. There is no rule against bumping old threads. But it should be more than to say that you’re excited. Update your theory if you like, post new tweets or new images. That’s fine. However simply bumping an old thread by saying “I’m excited for X” is uncessary.
I have bumped old threads because I believe they are about to come into play again. The focus of my post is not excitement…it is older threads coming together to make a new tapestry. I should have been more detailed in my post…as background characters is what I am speaking of. I appreciate your defense of the thread but I am the one who started it. Some of the threads on this site have hundreds of posts the conversation naturally evolves I don’t see any difference here, especially seeing that I am the one that started this thread. I haven’t hijacked someone else’s thread.

Back to the topic of this thread. As I mentioned earlier, Jane has responded to several tweets regarding famous faces as extras in the background. I’ve been looking for them ever since Zelena said she was a “supporting player” in the Enchanted Forest/Mist Haven.
Since originally beginning this thread I have continued to see doppelgangers of famous faces as background characters including but not limited to, young Mae Whitman, Sandra Bullock, Carrie Fisher…and others. Interestingly, Mae Whitman voiced Tinker Bell, Sandra Bullock is in movies such as Love Potion #9 and While you were Sleeping. Of course Carrie Fisher is Princess Leia in Star Wars. Whether or not they are images of the real actors or doppelgangers, I think it would be good to pay attention to background characters in the upcoming episode that is said to be an immediate precursor to Skin Deep.
The silver slippers might be seen on someone, we might catch a glimpse of the Snow Queen, or we may even see Cora lurking in the background. I tweeted Jane asking about curses and hearts and if having the heart outside the body protects from more than just the shattered sight curse. She indicated in the positive. So, background characters. I’ll be watching for them.

ParticipantWe have a episode coming up that is the immediate precursor to Skin Deep. That is the challenge of this show…therefore, new shows literally are bumped up against these old shows (old threads) in the timeline.
If revisiting a thread is against the rules, I will abide by the rules. Can you point me to these instructions as I was not aware we could not bump old threads.
You are the moderator and I am a team player so please let me know.

Participant[mod] Everyone play nice. Please do disrespect anyone’s forum ideas, threads, and so forth. But also, please do not bump very old threads simply to bump them, especially when they have nothing to do with the current arc, story and your post has nothing to do with the thread itself [/mod]

Jane Espenson recently replied to another one of my tweets regarding characters that appear in the background scenes. When we look back over the past years of which tweets she either retweets or replies to there is an observable pattern that she was giving clues. Because of her answer to rebumping this topic I revisited the thread. None of us knows what previous threads are all going to come together to create the ultimate tapestry. One can look back over previous seasons and see obvious clues that ended up working into the story. These older threads are valuable.
In the past few weeks, Jane has responded to three or four of my tweets (all different topics). In April of 2014 I tweeted Jane about the movie The Odd Life of Timothy Green…and explored the topic of someone possibly imprisoned in a tree. In the first half of season 5 we met Merlin, who was…wait for it…imprisoned in a tree. I’ve written about Regina being Snow White…and we saw Regina in the Snow White heroine while Snow was the new Evil Queen. I could give many more examples and all were scoffed at. I am ok with scoffing. It doesn’t bother me. These threads are for discussing the show. Many, many clues are embedded. When they resurface it makes sense to revisit the threads.

ParticipantRevisited this thread today. I am looking forward to more of Regina’s backstory. She has become my favorite character on the show. I mentioned earlier that Henry was 10 when he met his mother Emma. Snow was 10 when she met Regina…now we are about to meet 10 year old Regina. I am looking forward to seeing where this leads.

ParticipantI am looking forward to the second half of season 5…we know we will see 10 year old Regina and there is another Snow flashback. Perhaps we will learn more about Mother Superior/Blue Fairy’s background.

ParticipantWe see the last name, “Fox” in the Storybrooke graveyard…the tombstone of Margaret Fox and also Catherine Fox. Margaret and Catherine are the first names of two of the Fox sisters. They were spiritualism frauds who tricked a lot of people. One particular ruse they used was dropping an apple under their skirt in order to produce noises made by spirits.
I don’t know if this ties in with Cleo Fox but it is interesting that the name Fox is in the graveyard.

ParticipantLet’s all keep thinking about it and maybe we can make additional connections.
