ParticipantDidn’t Adam or Keegan say that we would see Blue in a way we never saw her before? I think it was said in an interview. Basically I think the scene was probably cut. I mean, Keegan filmed for the episode, Idk why they wouldn’t include her as BF.
You are correct…they did say that. I waited for the scene but felt it never came.

ParticipantI like this idea a lot since I’ve always thought and wanted there to be more to Blue. One thing that might throw a wrench into the theory though is that Evil Grumpy said they laid a trap of dark fairy dust. If things are reversed then that means their magic is indeed good in the normal universe. But then there’s everything you both said.
Good point about the dark fairy dust.

ParticipantFavourites: The two iconic LOST scenes. The first one when The Apprentice presents Isaac with quills and says, “Pick one” and tells him this is a test. Goes back to when Richard Albert, in a flashback, goes and visits the child, John Locke, and asked him to select items that belonged to him in the future. This was a test to see if Locke was ready. The second one was when they were playing Three Dog Night’s Samballa. This was a nod to the scene when Hurley got the Dharma Initiative work van running and they all took a spin, up and down the valley, while playing Samballa. Loved that Isaac identified Henry as the “constant” that he couldn’t be written into the story because his story didn’t originate in the EF or book. Thought it was great how they nodded to Disney as being the author who had just died. Really enjoyed Adam writing/mirroring himself in the story by having Isaac say, at his book signing, “No spoilers.” Laughed out loud over that one. As well, we all knew The Sorcerer is Merlin. Looking forward to seeing Camelot come S5. On a side note, I’m all for Michael Keaton guest starring as Merlin.
Least favourite moments: Gosh, where do I begin? I can live with the fact that my theory is dead. I can deal with the evidence, from tonight, that the original quill & ink, that wrote Rumple & Bae’s story, can only write a fake version of it and that nothing can bring back the dead for real. But then there are all the exemptions to this, like Zelena, Anastasia, ect. That Neal/Bae wasn’t important enough was a huge let down. I am thoroughly disappointed that they knew fans would be hoping that it could eventually bring back Neal/Bae, and they gave us that hope from the very opening of this finale by teasing us with what Isaac said to Rumple. That they would open with this, only to squash our hopes in the final few minutes, is unforgivable. It’s downright dastardly. To add insult to injury, they actually had Henry tell Hook that Hook taught him how to sail the Jolly Rogers. Ya, that never happened. It was Neal who taught Henry how to sail that ship, back in S2x16, The Miller’s Daughter. For me, this was absolutely sacrilegious. They invented something that never happened and intentionally ignored what did. I really wanted to take a swing at A&E at that point. If that all weren’t enough, they go and use the hat to change Rumple from the DO. Give me a break! As if Rumple wouldn’t have figured that out and spared us all the nonsense of getting Isaac to rewrite his story. Nor does Rumple deserve to have his HE. Even as a hero, he still caved into darkness and murdered someone. And what’s with the Dark force not returning to its original master, Rumple? Instead, it seeks out anyone BUT Rumple? Come on now! I’ll get over it, as I’m still not giving up on the show and I’m not going to let that damper my spirit or stop me from having fun. However, for tonight, I’m going to vent.
Great observations!

ParticipantI can’t get the image of Charming shoving the egg containing his DNA into Mal out of my head. It would be an interesting twist if it turns out this was the catalyst for Lily’s conception. Emma and Lily…sisters??? We did see a parallel with the scene where Lily was kneeling before Emma telling Emma to shoot her and the scene where Dr. Frankenstein’s brother was kneeling before him and the brother pulled the gun to his forehead asking Dr. Frankenstein to shoot him. It is a long shot but I think they parallelled the scene to at the very least cause us to wonder.
Edited to add – Why was the container holding the vial of true love shaped like an egg? The container could have been shaped like a box or a sphere or many other shapes but it was shaped like an egg…a golden egg.

ParticipantWhat if it was a setup. What if it is Cora masquerading as Blue, or Cora somehow controlling Blue. We saw Cora appear as Blue in The Queen is Dead. There are a lot of similarities between the scenes of Blue with Baelfire and Blue with Snow. The other stories in The Return all involve set ups and deception…Snow was framed and David fell for it…Sidney and Regina were working to set up Emma…Gold was setting up Regina. It would not surprise me if the scene with Baelfire and Blue was a set up.
Cora didn’t exist back then. The events between Rumple, Bae & Blue occurred several centuries before Cora’s birth.
It does seem that Cora would not exist back then but we have not seen her birth or childhood in an existing timeline. We would not know Baelfire and Hook were hundreds of years old if it had not been revealed to us. It may be a long shot but the same could be true with Cora. She could be much more than she appears to be. I think there is more to Cora’s story than we have been shown.

ParticipantQuite a long time ago I tweeted Jane and asked if Henry was the author. She indicated that he was not. Now, in light of the new information we have learned about the author that answer can be taken two ways. He is not the author at any time or he is not the current author.
I think Jane only meant Henry was not the author, at that point in time, since Isaac was (and still is). But, Henry could still very well be an author in the future, especially if Isaac dies in the finale and Henry takes his place. As for who the sorcerer is, I think he could be either someone we haven’t met, like Merlin, or, the current sorcerer could very well be Jafar (who was called a sorcerer in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland). I would’ve said the sorcerer’s name is Yen Sid, but A&E have already ruled him out. Also, if the title of sorcerer can be passed on like the title of author can, then maybe Lily will become the next sorceress.
I agree…the door is left open for Henry to be an author. Whatever happens with Henry I think at some point in the future we are going to see Henry as an adult….whether it is as Author, Sorcerer or Dark One.

ParticipantA yellow rose means friendship. In other words, Cora is trying to signify to Regina that she wants to make amends.
Different cultures have different interpretations of flower colors. For example, in Russia, it’s a cultural faux pas to give yellow flowers to friends. In Russia, yellow flowers don’t signify happy friendship; rather, yellow flowers are what Russians give to the bereaved when someone dies or place at a grave. So Cora placing a yellow flower on Daniel’s grave makes sense in the context of yellow flowers being the color of mourning or remembrance of the dead.
So if we have some nods to the Dallas TV series…it means???
As to whether Once Upon a Time could all be Henry’s or Emma’s dream, I’ve had similar thoughts.
…I have a hard time believing they would pull a Dallas but there do seem to be hints to that genre of television shows. In “Mother” we heard Cora tell Regina she needed to start building a “Dynasty.”
I like the information about the yellow rose in Russia. Zelena’s name is Slavic and Regina means Queen in Romanian so you may be on to something.
