Kay, folks. This is hitting close to home, literally– 724 is my home area code. 🙂 I lived not far from New Castle, so I’m pretty familiar with the town. Nothing in particular about New Castle jumps out at me — but looking at the list on a whole, I notice they all have the Beaver & Erie Canals in common. (either by location or influence) This fits nicely with the Merman theory.

    The Hunchbach — Love it!

Grendel from Beowulf — and I’d love to know about The Little Mermaid’s mother

If I could, Can I make a correction? Couldn’t decide between Grumpys pick axe, or happy’s stein, so I mashed them while writing. 😮 Can I clarify, it’s grumpy’s pickaxe if nobody called it yet. Also, I didn’t want to call a bunch, but I would love to be the keeper of the Hatter’s scissors. I love this! My husband was a huge fan of lost… now it’s my turn to drive him crazy, lol.

I would like to be the keeper of the blue birds and Grumpy’s stein.
