Granny’s profits should rocket with the influx of new customers, both for the diner and the inn.
Like them mentioning Emma back as the strong sheriff woman.
They didn’t say that Emma would go back to the “strong sheriff woman” she was in season 1 and 2. They just said she’d go back to being the sheriff. It’s likely we’ll just see her sheriffing. Whilst it would be nice to see Emma go back to the strong personality she was in season 1 and 2, I think they’re too far down the road now to give her a sudden 180 turn in personality. They could set the wheels in motion this season at most but I doubt Emma will ever return to her season 1 self.
It doesn’t matter if they didn’t say strong sheriff. They said sheriff, which makes it sound like a hint and clue that she might be. Even though it might not happen, it’s possible.

But with them mentioning about going back to the way season 1 and 2 was originally they just mentioned as though they plan to make the characters go back to the way they originally were. Like them mentioning Emma back as the strong sheriff woman. If that was so, then maybe they are recycling the Graham story for this season again which might lead her to that. Just like they did many times with other stories by recycling them from season to season.
nickyhelpBlockedI’ll be fine with whoever it would really be. If it’s really Aladdin the whole, I’ll be okay with that. Especially if we discover that he has a connection with Snow. Just like she did with Red, Ariel and Hercules.
nickyhelpBlockedHere’s some new casting.

nickyhelpBlockedWhat’s kind of annoying about all of this, is Dopey was always my favorite dwarf. And with the show returning to smaller story lines this season and a larger overarching 22 episode arc similar to season 1, I thought this was a good time to incorporate Dopey, and give him an episode that would revolve around de-treeing him. I feel like they could really give a good OUAT spin on the character- find out why he is mute, where he got his purple hat, maybe why he is so silly. Basically, I wanted an episode similar to Grumpy’s from season 1. And now that they are shifting back towards that way of story telling, and since Dopey had not been saved from the tree, I thought this was the perfect time for it. So if anything, this news is a little bit disappointing, although as nickyhelp said, nothing is for certain yet. I have a hard time believing that they would go around with only 6 dwarves now without even addressing the alleged tree death of Dopey, mainly because although the dwarves are incredibly minor characters (especially after Grumpy), they serve a canon purpose for Snow White and if she doesn’t have 7 dwarves anymore, I feel like that would be addressed, at the very least mentioned that he’s still a tree and they don’t know what to do.
For the record, Dopey’s tree transformation was not a death thing.
nickyhelpBlockedWell they could pull an explanation for a recast out of thin air. Being a tree changed Dopey’s appearance, so now he’s Michael Fassenbender. But yeah this is all weird. Dopey’s a pretty minor character though, so I’m sure they will just give us a line of dialog saying hes okay or that he decided he liked being a tree more, or something.
Is that photo official for a recast, or is it just a guess?
June 22, 2016 at 9:32 pm in reply to: San Diego Comic Con 2016 (July 23)–All News, Interviews, and Spoilers #324972nickyhelpBlockedOh and by the way, are those scenes of Rumple and Felix amd the dagger scene from promos like the Merida promo or something?
Rumple and Felix scene was an actual scene from 301, shown at D23
The dagger scene was an actual scene from 501, shown at D23
The Merida “promo” was a teaser to inform the audience that Merida was coming in s5A (the same with the Hook promo in S2 and Ariel promo in S3) —all of which were shown at SDCC before their respective seasons.
I thought so about Rumple and Felix and the Dagger scene. But I already knew about the Merida promo.
nickyhelpBlockedYeah, Adam has said similar things about Ana, Will, Lily, Mal…ect. No one is ever forgotten, but it doesn’t mean they get screen time, narrative, or anything.
They might throw out a line or something about Dopey being human again (or even get a body double like they did with Gwen) but *shrug* he’s not actually important to the story so if they never showed him or talked about him again, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised.
Well there was no double of Guinevere in the episode. She never even appeared in the finale. Dopey is so important for Snow you know. For one thing, he like the other dwarfs are her protective brothers, loyal and supportive. They made hime like the disney version, that’s why he is silent and wearing a purple cap.
nickyhelpBlockedDopey has not been forgotten!

who said he's leaving the show?

It seems Dopey may return next season after all. Well maybe not the original actor of him. But still.
