The way out of the mirror was way too easy. I could easily think of more interesting ways. They should have gone deeper and explored what the metaphor of the mirror really means. They should have been more creative with the mechanics of the magic. Mirrors are, like dreams, a perfect opportunity for them to dig deep.. They missed it. Really, in my opinion, they should have let this story span two episodes, because they could have done so much more with it.What was the point of putting them in the mirror in the first place? I mean for the storywriters? They could have had the same character moments any and everywhere.
Note to self:: Don’t get frustrated again with what the show isn’t doing, just see that which they give you.
I totally agree with you …. having REGINA & EMMA trapped for longer then this one episode would have been great …. BUT LESSONS from the past the writers have learned is … THE AUDIENCE clammers for fast results and resolutions of problems. Following social media / forums / podcast the audience has no patience for drawn out arcs AS EVIDENCED by what was said about FROZEN, DARK ONE and HADES arcs…. everyone want the stories to move faster. .I also think that A&E see the writing on the wall and they are trying to end the show, tie up loose ends and tell the story they want ( THEY have always said they knew the ending of the series) That is one reason we do not get a lot of character moments… the other reason being we rarely got a lot of character moments .. it is more action, action, action. I think this is the last season for ONCE. WE will be looking for a new show to watch at 8 pm in the future.

Yes, because of a throw away line about his posture. Not because of the way she was acting.
Yes, this annoyed me. EQ as Regina was very different to Regina-Regina, even before this stop-slouching line. I would have thought it was pretty obvious, but Snow? Charming? didn’t notice the difference, either. Maybe its the Charming in him that made him slow to realize that she is the EQ haha
I do not think it was the one line .. that line might have been what nailed it … I think it was the whole Prince speech (not REGINA’S parenting style) that clued Henry in … but it would have been dumb of him to let EQ know he figured it out.

I was under the impression that HENRY figured out EQ was masquerading as REGINA. EQ speech was pure EQ …. she was NOT understanding and is very controlling…. REGINA separated from EQ was not.</strong
–“Never compromise who you are.” Okay, good message but every character on this show keeps compromising who they are. In fact, this entire season is about Regina compromising her entire identity; she is the EQ, the EQ is her.
RIGHT ON …. I like see how they are dealing with the fall out of separation. I like seeing HENRY being strong and not compromising his principals…. EQs downfall in the future.

UNFORTUNATELY I think what happens is when you have DVDs in the house kids get into things that are not always appropriate. I am to the point I lock up DVDs I do not want my GdS seeing.

IF it was LILLY he probably lost track of MELICENT and thus Lilly when Snow and Charming took the egg. I think they are setting up the spring season.

.Isn’t there a movie, fairy tale, or fable about a couple separated in the same way and Snow and Charming.
The girl is a bird during the day and the boy is a wolf at night … they have human forms at opposite times ..and the only time they get be together is a sun rise and sun set when they get to see each other as human for a minute or two. I think the story is NATIVE AMERICAN but it could be from the Slavic countries. I remember bits and pieces from the story but I saw it / read about it many years ago. </strong
The other tale that this story reminds me of is about a princess and her seven brothers… they turn into swans all day long flying about, at sunset they turn back into human being. She has to break the curse by a certain day or they stay swans forever. She has to sew each one a shirt without help from anyone. She makes the shirts and put the shirts on her brothers changing them back into humans. She did not complete one of the shirts so one brother ends up with a swan wing instead of an arm. (??? SWAN LAKE???)CAN anyone help me with this?
Aside from the technical aspect of greening in SB, wouldn’t she also still be grieving Hades to some extent? Her True Love died pretty recently at her own hand. Wasn’t she actually in love with the dude? Ugh, I can’t with this whole silly soap opera side plot, this part of the writing looks like bad fanfiction
Yes magic mechanics aside, I think she’s turning green because once again Regina–the EQ this time–is getting everything she always wanted while Zelena isn’t, even if doesn’t really want Rumple anymore. It’d be nice if Zelena would bring up Hades to remind everyone that while the EQ has a new romance, Zelena just very recently lost hers.

I think it is more that EQ lied to her and ZELINA realizes she is being used by EQ. She really does not have the sister – sister bonding that she expected from EQ.
