Dr. Whale is tasked with mending Hook’s wounds and performing surgery on the stranger whose car crashed upon entering Storybrooke. But some of the townspeople fear that the stranger may have seen magic — which could expose their true identities to the world — and think that leaving him to die would be the best solution. Belle and Rumpelstiltskin just letting Captain Hook go. I’m happy that he was spared and all, but they could have easily tied him up amd called Emma to come and arrest him.
THEY did suffer due to that oversight… see what happens when you are selfish?
Gold was selfish for not reporting the crime… being so wrapped up in trying to see if he could get out of town and look for Bae…. Like really where are GOLD’S priorities ??? It would have taken just a few minutes to get Hook captured and thrown into jail.
Then the last few minutes with Belle rolling over the town line and the car crash would never have happened.

Hook yet again proved to suck at being a villain, has nobody even taught him how to fight? Even Rumple with his cane defeated him easily. It’s almost as if he wanted to die/lose.
He said himself – ‘take my heart so I can be reunited with Milah’ – so he suggested the exact type of death he wanted to face and Rumple followed. Where am I going with that? Well, Belle also said ‘your heart is rotten’ to which he replied ‘you have no idea’.
Maybe, apart from sarcasm, there is more to it? He’s obviously still aching from Milah’s death as we even saw in the final scene so either he wants to die because the pain is unbearable but something is stopping him from killing himself or maybe he found a way to kill Rumple by luring him into ripping his heart out – perhaps some sort of spell that would kill both of them once Rumple is crushing his heart?
That’s why his heart could be rotten, from the spell? As a result, probably both of them would die, but what would Hook have once Rumple’s dead? He’s vengeance would have been accomplished but the pain would still be there. Instead, he could ‘reunite’ with Milah?
Here I was thinking Cora might have taken HOOKs heart so that he could go up against Gold.
I liked Belle taking charge, using intelligence, her knowledge to beat the beast… turning Phillip loose…. too bad this was before the wraith got Phillip. Too bad she lost her real identity when she went over the line and reverted back to her Storybrooke persona. Gold is going to have to work real hard to win back her love. Hope he does it before season finale.
HOOK is going to find out what modern medicine is like. Dr Whale… what is his specialty or does he use FAIRY TALE medical practice or modern medicine…. IN case this is a spoiler…
Really Gold couldn’t you make enough potion for the whole town, in case there were accidents. Like tonight’s encounter with Belle.
