I do not think you will regret it … I am currently using a 60 year old SINGER 301 … all it does is a straight stitch but it is a great straight stitch. I do send my large quilts out to be quilted together …. I use to do my quilting but got a little to old for that…. still quilt my smaller projects ( under full size quilt.)

THIS was the inspiration pattern but as usual I am changing it on the design wall. The original pattern is way too small so I am sewing mine about double in size … big enough to fit a queen size bed… Will post more pictures in the future.Stared on a new quilt … these are just pictures of some of the segments that I will use to assemble the quilt. I need two more segments similar to these … the four smaller segments … not sure if I will make segment that dominates the center of the quilt. I am winging it and will make my decisions visually as I put all the parts up on a design wall.

DO NOT have cable or good internet so I am looking for recommendation of regular broadcast TV … so far little floats my boat.

.WHAT this list does not explain is that much of the $$$ earned is from other projects not just ONCE …. this also seems to be an older accounting of what each actor earns.

The ending left me so confused… they killed off half of PORTLAND … how are they going to cover up the massacre? I am mad they killed off MIESNER ( but I heard rumors he still will be back next season… but how ? ? ?)

.3. Will the show bring in more Disney characters, or veer toward other historical figures? When Henry (Jared Gilmore) was in the New York City Public Library, the other versions of his fairytale book showed stories like Gulliver’s Travels and historical figures like Don Quixote. Could Once Upon a Time be diving into non-Disney fairytale characters?
DO NOT know what A&E are planning …. but I think both GULLIVER’S TRAVELS and DON QUIXOTE beside being a literature source were used in very early DISNEY cartoons… way back in the 40s and 50s. I do not think they will reenact the Disney cartoons but stick to the original litature regardless of what tales they choose to develop.
I also thought I saw Paul Bunyon references but I will not know for sure until I get to see the show again.
I think ONCE is in trouble with it’s characterizations and story line because of the revolving stable of writers. There are fewer writers who have been here since the beginning and our favorites only write one or two episodes per season. I think this is one reason EMMA was so flat in 5B. If the writers are newer to the show they will probably be unable to capture the essence of seasons 1 AND ;2.

WHAT do you think? Does the constant changes in writers impact the characters and story line of ONCE?
