9. Will Emma Swan ever have a Fairytale counterpart?
She was the infant daughter of Snow and PC James… so yes she did have a FAIRYTALE counterpart.

WRITERS and their staff do a lot of reasearch for this show so it might be because of that.
WOW this thread had a lot of food for thought… I had been disappointed in this show because I saw so many previews that I thought gave away the plot… I was bored and tired when I watched the show….
I now realize I missed a lot and I will have to watch the show again to review what I missed.
I saw the ELECTRIC LIGHTS MASCACRE on TV several times before the show and felt they gave away to much of the action. I did want LeRoy and MM to sell their candles for $100 each as it was a seller’s market … they had the goods and the town needed the candles. ..Would have served them righ for being mean to MM and LeRoy. ( I do have a mercinary streak in me)
I also wondered how come no one saw LEROY knock out the transformer… ARE THEY BLIND??
Loved the candle vigil as I have participated in several similar events and they can be lovely.[/size]
I am with Astrid / Nova group… she was so annoying ….
Blue Fairy and Bossy are just slave masters and over seers who try to keep the DWARF under thier control and thumbs… A dwarf uprising is needed.Will repost when I get to watch the show again…. b ut not tonight…
Are you talking about pre-curse Rumplestiltskin? I didn’t see anything in that character that would make me think he was a murderer or a babysnatcher. Or do you think the curse didn’t really change his base character, it just gave him the power to accomplish the evil that had been in his heart from the beginning.
I really hope we get more information on what exactly the Dark One curse does. How much of the person’s original character stays intact and how much is it subsumed by the power/curse? Could a good enough person overcome the darkness and use the power for good? Or is the fact that it is call The Dark One a giveaway that whoever gets cursed is going to get buried under the evil?
Yeah i am talking about pre dark one Rumpel. There was just something about the scene where Bae and Rumpel were talking about his mother that made me think that he might have killed his wife meaning Bae’s mother or that he stole Bae from his mother. I don’t think that the curse changed his base behavior. I think that he was the same a coward and a murderer and he might have been a baby snatcher. We don’t really know though. There was just something about that scene.[/b]
I am thinking that in mid evil times/ dark ages that the over lord could avail himself of any young woman in the relm. Maybe she was taken by the overlord and Brea resulted from that union. Rumple could have been honorable and stood by her…. There were a lot of weird statements made by the soldiers that alluded to a sorid story…. I will have to watch the episode again some time to see if I was under the correct impression.
I mean, isn’t it odd that only ‘Grumpy’ seemed to question their ideas on work. “And we like it?” to which the lead dwarf responds, “We love it! We even whistle while we do it.”
Didn’t Grumpy’s egg get sprinkled with fairy dust before he hatched? Is that not the reason why he could fall in love?
If Nova and Dreamy had kids would they be hatched from an egg? I sure would not want to be the fairy that passed an egg… they are bigger than the fairy. 😳 🙄
So to me, that is what was missing from her exchange with Grumpy. The words were right, but there just did not seem to be any sense of loss or regret. If this was shortly after the “break-up,” as I assume it was, the emotions would still be very fresh and very raw. And I agree with you, there would probably be some impulse to go back and see him again, try to make him see what he is throwing away. There would be anger and hurt and confusion. Grumpy’s Belle seemed way too happy. And by the way, totally out of place drinking in the dwarf tavern! Maybe she just went there because she knew she wouldn’t get hit on, what with dwarves never falling in love!
My responce to RUMPLE is a POT UP THE SIDE OF THE HEAD til he saw thing my way….

I believe this scene in the pub was just after Rumpel kicked her out of the castle, she probably vented a lot on her way to the village and arriving there she just needed someplace to sit, think and let everything sink in. Much like all the people in SB, who go to Granny’s. (Anyone realised yet, that they show them drinking alcohol a LOT? Practically every episode there someone in need for a drink.)
AND THIS ON A FAMILY SHOW… PROHIBITION NEEDS TO BE ENACTED HERE. 🙄

I did find it comforting that she told Dreamy that he needed to be with his love. So she did obviously realize that she loves Rumple and that needs to be with him. What I couldn’t figure out though was why she hadn’t taken her own advice and marched her ugly blue shoes back to Rumple’s rather large estate and told Rumple the same thing she just told Dreamy. I mean, based upon what she told Rumple in her “room” she knows he really does love her but is just scared that she can’t really love him. So why didn’t she just go back and ask him what she had to do to prove to him that she loves him? She could have told him that she’ll never kiss him and that she’ll just stay with him forever in Rumple form since she fell in love with him that way anyway. She’s supposed to be a feisty little thing so going back and sitting on his spinning wheel until he agrees to talk to her about it wouldn’t be out of the question. I doubt he would do anything to hurt her – I mean he almost beat a man to death because he thought he stole her teacup . . .
Come on let her stew in her brew and lick her wounds a little til she has the courage to go back and give RUMPLE what for….THAT SAID…. I think the reason she did not march to RUMPLE and tell him off was because EQ got her before she had the chance….
I think the deal made by the boy’s father with Gold was a false memory for Cinderella / Ashley. The first deal was in FTL but since they came to Storybrooke there had to be a cover story.
Everyone has an alternate story that shadows what occurred in FTL.
